And the first one we were Pot 4...

Onana made no difference in the groups and if anything he was rather poor in almost all games but the Barcelona home game. He was vital vs Porto but other than that tie, we didn't need a goalkeeper's effort to go through. And Onana conceded 3 goals to Benfica, 2 of which were gifts.

What will be missed by Onana is his Barcelona away long passing, but not his saving in that same game. If we can balance that out, it's all good.

Watching him at United right now and I am pissed. All the money from his sale going practically unused. We gave away one of the best goalies of the next generation for nothing.. outside of paying our broke owners rent for the month.

Aaand United are without a starting cup whenever there's the African Cup... That's one of the issues I had with signing Onana and was happy that he fell out with his NT coach.

Onana is costing them much more than just on individual level. They changed the way they play to accommodate the strengths he has, but in the process completely fucked up their balance because they don't have personnel yet to play that way. They were much more solid last year with de gea on goal and the conservative way they v played because of his limitations than now.
