Reading this feels like Lukaku was playing with 10 pieces of deadwood. I would understand it from someone that hasn't seen Inter play and just watches highlights though.

I 'd rather give chances to kids like Pinamonti, Agoume, Pirola etc. than signing mediocre experienced players on loan or on a free. Conte is good at improving players so who knows. Maybe it could work.

If Conte can actually get him to play like a man instead of a boy who somehow found his way out of the primavera I’ll be impressed. Every time I see this guy he looks timid on the pitch, like he feels he doesn’t belong. Who knows maybe the goal will give him some confidence. I’d like to see him with a real line up once or twice instead of garbage minutes with other back ups. He’s been training with the team a year so he should be able to fit into the system fairly well.

Yeah I don't see Pinamonti staying. His salary isn't even that low and despite Conte singing praises, he hasn't allowed Pinamonti to play hardly at all.

Next season we need to have real vice-Lukaku because our season is in jeopardy if Lukaku misses time. And he has played constantly for a long time now. He will have euros this summer so shorter summer holiday and then a hard training camp again (Conte + Pintus). We can't expect Lukaku to play consistently 2x a week again. Not only goals, but his role in our game is crucial.
