I think the point is that no one could have expected Pinamonti to have anything other than a really mediocre season again. His career average is 4 games = 1 goal

We are choosing between mediocrity and money wasting. I do agree Pina is mediocre, but is enough for our 4th spot. While the other is wasting us again 10m in a year.

as i said, we'll see. Im hardly any fan of arnautovic, but he has had some contribution - excepting the major fuck ups in the CL this week. ALso, he's 3rd choice really it would seem, not 4th. The comparison for 4th would be sanchez atm

No one said he was, this should be strictly clear with the mention of Arnautovic, but he is younger, less heavy on the payroll and he shows enough to be in the same role as said player.

His wages at Inter were more then Arnautovic.

Am I missing something? Pinamonti was sold last year and we needed that 20m. It's not like we could have gotten Pinamonti back for 10m and chose Arnautovic instead. I'm not a fan of Arnautovic but just don't see the comparison here.
