People hype Scamacca as prime Vieri while ignoring this guy who has the same amount of goals (yeah he got more minutes but also played in worse team)

I would rather call him back than spending ridiculous money on Scamacca
I think is has to do with Scamacca shows some flair & speed and Pina doesn't?
But hey remember Kovacic and Broz back then? LOL I am not saying who is better, they both turned out pretty good in my books.

Pina shows constant improvements and learning of the game, I would say overall Pina is also better at setting up teammates and playing as a pivot, but Scamacca seems to be more dangerous.

I personally think they can both reach a very high level (different style though), but the development pattern and path they need are really different, and I don't think Pina can develop well at Inter sadly, I can see Pina develop into an old-school Italian forward, scoring a lot by moving in channels and catching CBs' mistakes, with the additional ability to pivot, back to goal and so.

He played very well against Milan too before.

Scamacca has a better chance becoming a top player here.

This is not addressed to any single member in particular and just for the record I am not advocating we spend €40m on Scamacca.

I don't mean to be a dick but if you honestly can't see the clear skill difference between the two, you're either blind or simply haven't watched either of them enough.

Scamacca has technical ability which Pinamonti clearly does not. This is why some people prefer the notion of Scamacca, because they value the potential of his exceptional technical skill and finesse. Pinamonti on the other hand is much more rugged and is doing pretty well as a physical, scrappy, box-forward - but he lacks that technical ability. It's like comparing Calhanoglu to Gagliardini, Dybala to Dzeko, or Cancelo to Dumfries. One is clearly more technically gifted than the other.

Now, in terms of use or overall efficacy, it might be up for debate. Obviously technique doesn't mean everything. Plenty of technically gifted players don't reach their potential because they lack the mentality, the physicality or a good footballing brain.

Pinamonti may end up having a better career than Scamacca if he turns out to be tactically smarter, mentally tougher, of if he can make himself more useful. If you honestly prefer a hard-working, physical, Belotti-type striker like Pinamonti compared to a highly technical-but-still-raw talent like Scamacca, that's fine. Perfectly valid opinion to have.

But for the love of God please stop acting like they're the same kind of player or somehow equivalent in terms of potential or raw components just because of their similar goal stats.

Pinamonti is a decent mid-tier serie a striker at the very best, think Belotti. Nothing will change my opinion on that unless he starts bagging them in for fun over an extended period.

His holdup play and instincts are quite good + solid penalty taker, but he doesn’t really have much of a ceiling. We’d do very well to offload his huge salary and profit from his sale.

People are so focused on this pointless Pinamonti vs Scamacca debate when neither of them is good enough to play for Inter.
I don’t even think there is a “debate”.

I think it’s just people seeing the headlines that we’re interested in Scamacca for €40m, and without even watching him, instinctively thinking that’s way too much. Then they see Pinamonti’s stats and again, without actually watching him, they go, “oh why get Scamacca when we already have Scamacca at home?”

Pinamonti is useful to teams like Empoli/Torino where there is not that much pressure and competition for game time.

If you look Lautaro, Dzeko, Sanchez or Correa they would be dominant at team like Empoli, but now at Inter they are shitted almost every week and I’m also one of the criticks.

Correa is struggling to make a damage to opponent and seem to lack mental strenght to play at top level, eaven when he has all the tools to be great player! Also look what happened to Radu? I’m sure Radu will be good gk to team like Empoli, but not good enough to play at Inter…

Thats why I don’t want players like Esposito, Satriano, Pinamonti… to be our 4th striker and we need 4 mature and ready players to keep competition up. We play at 3 competitions and we have game every 3-4 days, so everyone is needed and we need quality/depth to compete in every front.

I see Pinamonti like Gags who clearly is limited on every aspect (mental strenght, basic skills and football brain) to succeed at top level, but would be usefull to likes of Torino.

We can get good profit from player like Pinamonti, so its good if we can continue to sell our primavera players for good profit and get more promising or already ready players or to balance our books.

Yeah I’m not a fan of Scamacca or Raspadori eather, but I rate them higher than Pinamonti after seeing they play. But 30-40m for any of them is too much and too big of a risk! Eaven for 20m I’m not sure can they offer what we need? Just look at our current strikers, who are struggling to score and waste so many changes!

I really don’t see Pinamonti get much better than this, so sell him now when there is lots of hype!

New Milan owners should just sign Scamacca for 45m (or more for hope) as their first gift to Milan fans and end this story once and for all.

Pedulla said there wont be any discounts and he is worth 20M. Could be included in a player swap, like bremer or scamacca.

Carnevali speaking while at the L’Amico Atletico event, as reported by FCInterNews: Sassuolo have confirmed interest in Andrea Pinamonti

Casadei and Pinamonti are both exactly the types of players who would fit Sassuolo’s model, as the Emilian club tend to focus their attention on young talents with significant room to grow, particularly Italian players.

Of Pinamonti, he said that “I think it would be difficult for us, he has become a top player who can aspire to bigger clubs, but above all he has a market value that wouldn’t be within our reach.”

“A club like ours must aim to invest in smaller deals, and to think about being able to resell players in the future,” he continued. “I think this would make [a deal for Pinamonti] complicated, although we’d very much like to because he’s one of the best players in his role.”
Can Sassuolo aford his salary? 😅

Messaggero - "Lazio, Sarri's approval for Pinamonti. But Inter values him at least 20 million euros"

We should value him at 40 for Lotito, but too bad we're not in a position to make such demands

We are. We can demand 30 and that's it. If he fucks with us, we can fuck with him.
