I’m fine with letting him go but the question is who are we going to find that’s better at essentially the same price. I’m assuming we won’t be spending money on a transfer fee for him.

We should keep SDV, bring in Bremer and have 4 quality CBs. This allows us to rotate and cover injuries without a drop in quality.

Inter directors have reportedly informed Andrea Ranocchia that they won’t trigger their option to extend his contract, so the defender will leave the club at the end of the season.

The 34-year-old will end his time at San Siro in the summer after spending more than 11 years at the club. According to Calciomercato.com, Inter directors have already informed the player’s agent that they won’t count on him next season, so they won’t activate a clause to extend his expiring contract until 2023.

Francesco Acerbi is coming. His current contract with Lazio runs until 2025 but he is in bad relationship with the club so I expect it will be terminated by mutual agreement.

Why come to be 4th or 5th choice.

Lotito doesn't do that stuff. Either you give him money or Acerbi is stuck at Lazio.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Ranocchia making way for Bremer. De Vrij might renew if Lautaro goes to Atleti as is being speculated.

De Vrij is bringing us 20-30m if we are lucky. He is leaving if he won’t sign a new long term contract. De Vrij comes down to if he wants to go.

Bremer will hopefully be as good as De Vrij with more potential. I don’t think he has anything to do we the two departures. Rano just sucks and cost too much to be 4th or 5th Choice… down to 6th if we bring Bremer.

I think we would love to have 4 top class cbs and then rotate them. + D’am + dimarco you are good in the defense department. To actually challenge or get farther in champions league.

We have no money to sign players. An aging Ranocchia might be better than whatever else Suning is willing to bring in. Be careful what you wish for.
i disagree. Look at Dzeko and Sanchez two our main aging guys. we can see their movement looked so slow to received pass, stopped our game play.

we have too many aging guys-33+ circa 11 guys. yikes. some of them are very injury prone, some of them greatly decline.... we must regenerate these squad with younger guys soon. may add some primavera guys will help.

What’s the last youth player we gave a a shot to?

I don’t count Bastoni he cost 30 million or Di Marco we sent him to loan hell for a while.

I mean I just don’t get why we don’t promote players and just dump money on youth players to loan them and never play them. I get we do funny accounting to balance our books that way but still.

Even our youth players who leave for the most part suck outside of Bonucci and Zanilo

Guess it's time to give Pirola a shot at making the squad, unfortunately he's been injured (?) only has 9 matches under his belt at Monza.

Pirola isn't close to ready. If they were to promote a defender it would Vanheusden but there are injury issues.

Why shouldn't di marco count? No youngsters at big 3 Italian clubs go from youth to the main team .

The reason we don't promote youngsters from the youth system is likely they aren't good enough.

The youth system does produce a few who are good for serie a teams but not good enough for Inter.

Tell me which player from our youth system or loaned out youth players who would make a difference?

Yeah, it seems just about all Inter's "future" players have some problem retarding their development :palm:

Milan have produced more meaningful youngsters than us and Juve by a wide margin. Calabria, Donnarumma, even Maldini.

Maldini? Are we talking about paolo or jnr? The kid is nowhere near good enough for any of the big boys.

Will give them credit for donna and calabria but that's hardly a massive amount produced.

That Primavera is one of searching option. Of course i'm not suggest them as primary option.

My primary option surely bring new players inside Italy or outside Italy (for cheaper price) with sensible costs and salaries (based on suning never ending broke). Smart market and smart policy something we need.

To do that, suning must to increase windows budget at all cost!

P.S technically Di Marco, Radu, even papa Cordaz can considered as our guys to gave a shot....
