10 years of FIFI imagine he'll still play more than he would have here, especially considering De Vrij looks in considerably better form this year (thus far). Monza is also very close to Milan so he probably didn't have to relocate, which I'd guess played a big factor in his decision.

10 years of FIFI don`t think there are clauses inserted into player`s contracts that guarantee starting/certain playing time. That`s up to the coach.
From what it looks like, current Monza coach won`t last too long.
