That's good, Zanetti can be our vice Milito when we fail to get anyone.

With gargano and cassano, the pressure is now squarely on Strama's shoulders to perform. The squad, if played properly, should be at least 2nd/3rd in Serie A and far into KO rounds of EL.

Hope you can do it as we need CL $$ badly.

Stramaccioni then spoke to Inter Channel about the transfer market and he wanted to say "a big thank you to Marco Branca and Piero Aid. The technical director has been in Portugal for the last 48 hours and has come back with the player we wanted, Alvaro Pereira. I thank them Because they, along with the president, have Granted my wishes. "

well thank god we finally have a coach they actually listen to,future looks bright with Strama :work:

The EL wont be the main target imo. I think it'll be treated like the Coppa Italia. No one goes in guns blazing, eggs in one basket but if you go far you might suddenly care a bit more. I expect we'll see the group out with the odd bad result then get knocked out against a EL/CL borderline club who want nothing more than to win the trophy e.g. Atl Bilbao. A couple of bad results in the league and then suddenly it'll become a headache in the way of getting things back on track and Strama might just throw out any side because he's more worried about Fiorentina or Udinese or Roma on the weekend than the Champions League's ugly cousin. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see the team win the thing and would be gutted to see them go out if they reached the semis or the final but earlier than that I'd treat it in the same way that I treated United getting smacked out by Bilbao last year; never mind no big deal, move on, focus on the league.

Although, I think Strama is actually aiming so high, if it happens and we kept all our current squade members, then the guy is taking the treble idea seriously. we almost have atleast 2 quality players in every position. the depth is fair. good enough to battle on different fronts.

Lets wait and see.

^^I've said this earlier , being good in EL is very important not only for our reputation in europe but mostly for our coefficient in europe.

Winning EL gives around the same amount of points as winning the CL (if not =) . So by doing good in EL we can still be in the 1st seed for the group stages of next years CL.

If we have an average run we should still maintain a top 8 ranking coefficient. We have good numbers over the last 4 years.

I liked very much how we played last night. Most of atacks were from the left where Cassano, Sneijder and Nagatomo played great. Some movments reminded me on Milan when they played Kaka, Seedorf and Serghino on left side. Really impressive.

So, Suneet's right nut costs about 80-90 Euro.. :notbad:

Edit: I hope they will sell the tie like they did for last season...

The Pep Guardiola of Inter Milan. Rising out of the ranks of the Inter youth team to coach Inter. (too soon? :p) His enthusiasm on the sidelines shows his commitment and effort he has put in this team. I love it and have high hopes for him. Forza Stramaccioni!

I think his work in last match isn't getting noticed here.

Him substituting Samuel for Guarin and giving faith to Juan Jesus as a CB in a match 10vs11 down 0-1 is smth huge in terms of personality sign and trust in players no matter of the age or experience. This is smth not many managers would do , if not any.

Was about to come to say this. Strama is really something for me. He has the courage to trust these youngsters and make hard decisions like taking experienced veteran out if he's struggling. Well, that was a bit of a no-brainer but still.

Like Devious says above, Strama has cojones.
