You're quite optimistic...Mandzukic is playing his best season ever and Lewandowski is bound to sign for Bayern. That leaves only Mario Gomez available, but I doubt that Inter would be ready to splash 20 mil for him or that he would actually want to join us.

The question now is, how big of a "beef" Cassano and Strama have. Players and coaches don't have to be best friends, as long as the player performs well on the pitch. So far, Cassano has played well and it would be unfair to toss him out like he's garbage. In the long run however, it is best to cut him loose as soon as we get the chance, because a player that still hasn't learned anything at 31, is a menace that pulls the team down.

I know that Mandžukić is playing his best season ever, but would he really want to stay on the bench IF Lewandowski goes to Bayern?

If we promise a starter role to either of them we might be able to attract one of them. I doubt that a player who's peaking wants to stay on the bench for half of the season.

Sanchez also looks set to leave Barca, he can fill that role I believe. I think this is getting a bit off-topic.

He's master player but I have a felling that bunch of players in locker room hates him. And now coach hates him too. He isn't humble at all and after all he is guy from the street with load of money. What we should expect? Iron Antonio ...

Good that we didn't extended his contract.

It all depends on how Pep will set his strikers on the field. We all know he's had problems with Ibra and generally likes to play with only one striker. Gomez, Mandzukic and Lewandowski will not work. I'm guessing that Gomez will be off-loaded, because Hoeness is not really impressed with him considering how much they paid for him.

Now Sanchez is a much more realistic option. He knows the Serie A, Inter was already after him at one point plus he would fit perfectly to our team. However, if Inter plans to keep a tight budget, we can forget all about it.

As far as Cassano goes, I really thought that he found a home at Inter, but it seems like he will forever stay an attention whore. Seems suitable to become a coach though :), preferrably in the Premier League...

Disappointed if it's true he is bullying the young players when they make mistakes, I mean wtf the guy is over 30 stop acting like Stifler for gods sake, he should recognise he is one of the players who should be taking the responsibility to help these kids, not make things harder for them, can't imagine it is doing much for their confidence either.

I'm not ready to give up on him just yet, he's damn near worth 20 goals already this season (both scored and assisted) and people can say all they want but he is still one of our best players. But I hope he does take this as a wake up sign and not relapse into old habits.

“He doesn’t know the boundaries when it comes to respect. This has influenced his career. He only sees football in his own way. That inevitably sees teammates sometimes lose respect for him."

Gazzetta dello Sport - Cassano waited for his teammates in the dressing room and apologized. Still get fined for 40 thousand euros. But it's all good now.

Good move by the management, by Strama and by Cassano himself.

I wonder what he said..

Not sure if it was mentioned in this thread or any other one but he allegedly he said in an ironic way (as Strama ended the training session): "And here is Mourinho that is whistling in the end of the game!".

Strama got pissed, argument ensued. Players and management told Cassano "You play too much dawg".

The End?

He called Strama Mr. Bean and then proceeded to text Moratti saying 'Fuck Branca and the MGMT'.

Then he left training saying, 'I'm leaving this retirement home bitch, YOLO'.

If that comment he made about Mourinho is true, that's fucking gold, Jerry.
