Cassano has (minimal) market value. Chivu and Deki combined are worth some training cones and keeper gloves.

Yeah. Mazzari's whole team tracks back its a staple of the way he sets his team up. Even Cavani tracks back. Mazzari's Napoli attacks as a team and defends as a team. But you're right though, I don't see Cassano changing his workrate for Mazzari, he is too set in his ways.

Cassano's workrate isn't bad. Look at that game vs. Tottenham he was fuckin everywhere and he had many games like that for us.

You just gotta limit his minutes.

Cassano was in Sampdoria squad some years ago when Mazzari was coaching them. Cassano did well in that period. If Mazzari arrives I guess Cassano gonna stay (unless rich offer comes knocking)

I am not too worried about his work rate as long as he puts 100% when he is on the pitch, even if that means he could play for 60'. His quality is to keep the ball, and create the attack make assists and eventually scores, not to run 90' with no clue what he is doing (Gargano, Pereira, Guarin- the last one i think would blossom with competent coach, others not so much).

Inter wants to get rid of Cassano now, and Ranocchia will probably be the next. I can see Inter wants to become a total non-italian team. I am wondered how Inter can fulfilled the euro match quota (3 club trained + 3 association trained). Maybe Inter does not plan to go back to any Euro match. It would be fine to stay under 7 in the league table without any italian players in the team.
