It is not Goal.com who decides this, it was officially ruled an own goal after the match.
Fuck this shit, why? it's the same like when a player kick's, the ball hit's a rival player and goes in.

I can't find it..

Nevertheless, it shouldn't have been ruled out. I mean, what for? The show was ON goal, the fackt Chievos keeper touched the ball before going in should mean shit.

Oh well, only against Inter :D Who cares, 3-1, brilliant game by Cassano!

Actually it was an own goal, Cassano's shoot was on target but the Goalkeeper saved it then the ball hit the post and was going out but it hit the keeper again and got inside.

Look this was posted in the match thread:

Ya definitely an own goal...I thought so even when I first saw it. Cassano's shot hit the post and was on its way out, but hit the keeper and went in.

Directly from Lega Serie A:

"Le immagini, riviste come da prassi questa mattina, non lasciano spazio a interpretazioni. Il tiro di Cassano viene deviato dal portiere del Chievo sul palo, la palla in uscita carambola sul suo corpo e finisce in rete, determinando l'autogol di Puggioni, sulla base delle 'precisazioni dell'articolo 1 delle Linee Guida per l'assegnazione dei gol dubbi'".

Cassano will always rape bottom-half of the table teams like Chievo, but the question is can he step it up against the likes of Milan, Juve, Roma, Lazio, Napoli etc. which we're yet to see him do.

In some of those games the pace seemed to be too quick for Cassano, it's like as if he couldn't catch up to the game at all.

The ball moved so swiftly that it just bypassed him, which made him invisible in many of those games.

We should get him as close to the goal as possible in those games, prevent him from running back and forward, which will drain his stamina very quickly. Just shift to a 4-3-1-2 and make him focus in creating around the box. That way, we'll maximize his effectiveness every time he touch the ball. One can only hope he won't be isolated in such case, but after the acquisition of Kuzmanovic and Kovacic, we should be better in delivering the ball to the forwards.

This. I noticed this already when he was at Milan. He is totally different player now compared to young Cassano, who run circles around any defender he was up against. He is great with the Azzurri, because national teams have no clue how to play together and thus there is more time and space.

He is still an asset, but we must consider how to use him most effectively.

Could be that his pretty fat. During his Sampdoria days he was much leaner and better at beating his man

This. I noticed this already when he was at Milan.

I thought he was still quite agile on the ball in Sampdoria and his early days in Milan.

It's probably the stroke that affected his agility, pity really.

Yeah, Cassano is useless really, Rocchi is the best.

What? Who is moaning? We were talking about his current limitations, and said that he is an asset to the team despite of these. His transformation from this fast and agile young forward who raped defenders at will to this rather immobile player with amazing vision and passing reminds me of Giggs' career.

Meh, forget it. Cassano is perfect, I'm just badmouthing him.

Sorry to hurt your little feeling.

CdS is carrying that Cassano is on his way out at the end of the season, he wants to return to Sampdoria to be with his family.

I dont know if this is true or not, given that we're supposedly his dream team to play at and he's only just got here after so long, but I'm not entirely against selling Cassano. Of our 3 strikers, I'd rather get rid of Milito this summer (or next summer), and Palacio sooner than Cassano, but we do desperately need some rejuvenation up front. Icardi and hopefully Markovic will do that.
