On Xtratime, a Milan fan who was not involved at all in the Cassano thread or Inter much this summer just showed up in our thread and said that on the Italian section of a Milan forum, they say that Cassano to Inter is almost done. Burdisso & Suazo move, they rejected Mancini. The only issue now is the money.

Massimo Cebrelli/Grazia Neri Inter has started negotiations to acquire Cassano. Suazo and Rivas will go to Samp, plus the money they'll get from the transfer of Burdisso and Obinna. Moratti has flown to the USA to watch the derby and talk to Mourinho, but he doesn't want to invest the money he's got from Barcelona. Eto'o and Hleb will be in Milan on Monday for medical checks. The Cassano deal would just be perfect. I have already written goodbye to Zlatan, but am already welcoming Eto'o, Cassano, and Milito! I hope Quaresma steps up and can provide something.

Hopefully Maicon links up well with Eto'o and Cassano.

He is the spark we are missing right now, his signing is critical.

I would be very very happy with the market if we are to sign Cassano. Ofcourse, I wouldn't have wanted to sell Zlatan and would have wanted world class midfielders but hello, I can't always day dream.

I think with Ibra leaving it will be a lot less of a pressure for Mario and Quaresma to do everything "perfect". Obviously that doesn't mean they can screw up things, but without this pressure, when one bad pass and Ibra told you how bad that was, they can do only better. I really think that will be a very good thing to both of them.

I don't remember when was the last time a player(not only at Inter) who complained so much at others bad passes, or bad moves, while at the same time was not critical when he did the same. This is very selfish if you ask me, I know that's part of Ibra personality, but still it really kept me on my nerves. He wasn't like that in his first, or even second season. It started like that for good this year.

It's amazing I hear Balotelli and Quaresma can play better just because someone like Ibra doesn't bitch at them anymore (in ur assumption!). For what I know playing beside great players actually is something that improve u not weaken u! It's like saying Balotelli's stubborn character makes players like Cambiasso, Zanetti and Motta play bad!!

Vice versa, I think such actions from Ibra can motivate those players. (U don't hear what does he say, I don't mean if he's insulting!). For what I see Ibra's actions was more from his heat for the win than anything else and I'm sure players around knows that much better than u that just see some whispering words from his mouth from the TV.

I really hope all this is true about Antonio Cassano. I think the speed of Eto'o and strength of Milito could combine well but we need somebody creative to play with them. Our defence is strong despite what many people say, our midfield is ok-ish but up front we would look really well with Cassano in the team.

I will answer to your post, but first write me some top names from the past, like Baggio, Zidane, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho(at his prime), Figo etc. that complained at their teammates for bad passes. And I don't mean once a year, I mean on a match basis.

Eh, our midfield is not so good. We have to many DEF midfielders (muntari, cambiasso etc.), and no offensive midfielders. If we buy cassano, than we should try to get Sneijder/VdV and the team would be perfect.

Stubborn character has no impact on other players, where as bitching has a negative impact on those that are being bitched at. And I thought it was obvious...
