Hahahaha, Conte removed from rubentus's forum legend section.

they did something similar with Boniek when he implied that rubentus should accept the judgements of the courts.

Thanks for making me open up their forum, last page of Conte's thread has some retard bitching about Calciopoli. Worse than holocaust deniers.

A lot of them seem normal, genuinely worried that Conte can make us direct Scudetto contenders. They appear far more worried about him coming here than we do, for different reasons obviously. At least that's a good sign.

I guess Conte is our new coach now. I hope the club and the fans give him the full support for at least 2 years now. This might be a bumpy ride, and we gotta back our coach. Luckily Suning are less trigger happy than Moratti and looks like Marotta has faith in the coach. And we are out of the SA. So hopefully Conte will get the players he wants to build his Inter.

I get the feeling we may have seen Icardi's last game for Inter. Conte is big on discipline, and he will not be as lenient on Icardi as Spalletti was. The fact that Inter are looking to sign Dzeko whether or not Icardi leaves may suggest that Conte does not want to live or die by Icardi's (and Wanda's) moods. If Icardi is gone, then Perisic may get another chance at Inter. Conte has always liked Perisic, as he can be used as a LW in 3-4-3 and as a LWB in a 3-5-2. Vecino will probably stay in the midfield, another player who suits Conte.

I do hope we sign at least 2 quality midfielders, not just Barella. Its gonna be a long season, and we much plan for 3-5-2 and not only 3-4-3.

Welcome Conte, hope you win titles at Inter!

i haven't explained well what i said about boniek: in that case, the Pole was removed from the club itself (not from a supporters' site) from the list of 50 players to whom they dedicated a star in their new stadium: https://www.goal.com/en/news/10/ita...zbigniew-boniek-demands-explanation-for-being

Rube are as always a tasteless, low class club with no moral values. Unfortunately they are also very well organised these days, hopefully Marotta will make Inter as organised and efficient while retaining our values.

He later on moved to Roma and he is diehard romanista. That's why he said jube should pay for their past crimes and why jube and the fans hate him.

He was great player.

This is what should, and I expect to happen; they get pissed. Not us.

The reality is that there are not that many top coaches on paper currently. Especially ones with experience in Serie A. I'm sure if there was a choice between Conte and someone without a history with Juventus who were roughly on the same level than we would have gone with someone else, but in a situation where that is not the case I'd rather the club not be cutting its nose to spite its face. At the end of the day none of our players are going to care about his Juventus past. Personally I'm more concerned about his terrible record in Europe

It's just a shame there isn't a coach available with Serie A experience, maybe with two titles, a successful record in Europe, maybe a UEFA cup and two Champions League winner medals in his collection, that the club could have gone after instead of Conte.

As I've said before, his Juventus past means nothing to me, his attitude however bugs the shit out of me.

From a long term planning perspective, Juve are still two steps ahead of Inter. They are changing to a new brand of football, making their game more entertaining and modern at the same time. And for the first time, Sarri will have a squad expected to win titles - I fear what he will be able to create over the next 2-3 years. This is why I wish it was Inter getting Sarri and Juve getting Conte.

But purely from a short term point of view, we may have a window of opportunity here. Sarri might take time to adjust and make his new squad learn to play Sarriball. Conte's style may not need that much time to implement. If Inter give him a few quality players that he needs, this season could be our chance to win the scudetto before Sarri develops something beautiful and perhaps a new winning cycle at Juve.

Okay, at what point does a coach's past successes become irrelevant though? If that coach you're alluding to was a player everyone would be in consensus that he was past it and would no longer be the player he once was. Of course a coach isn't a player, but if one is to ignore a downward trend in coaching do we then consider Capello, Lippi, or even Trapattoni?

The guy recommending Mourinho has a problem with Conte's attitude? Come on man.

Those are very, very wild propositions you're making to determine who is more suited to the role. If we use your theory that Jose Mourinho's Serie A victories are now irrelevant, when do Conte's become irrelevant? He's been out of Serie A since 2014, why is his experience still relevant and Mourinho's is not?

Why do we have to acknowledge Mourinho's dismal last season at United, and write him off for the job, yet we can ignore Conte's last season at Chelsea where he himself downed tools and coasted through to the end of the season, just to declare him the best qualified for the job? Both men had unspectacular ends to their previous roles. Throwing coaches that are in their 70's and 80's into a comparison with Mourinho is going to the extreme opposite end of the spectrum of a downward trend, there's a difference between getting sacked the season after finishing second in the Premier League with Man United and coaching in China not giving a shit and trying to earn a quick buck before riding off into the sunset.

Mourinho's attitude was dismal in his final season at United, I won't argue that, then again you'd be pretty pissy too if your players were throwing you under the bus and the media poking and prodding at you at every turn would you not? Prior to that, he was outspoken, keen to play mind games and told things as they were, much the same as Alex Ferguson and Nigel Clough used to do as well.

Conte, however, has a poor attitude regardless of whether he's losing or if he's winning. The same guy who sent a text message to Diego Costa to say thanks for scoring all those goals, but I'm getting rid of you.
