La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Corriere dello Sport report that Conte could take a new job, not in the dug-out, but behind a desk and in front of cameras.

Conte and Sky are in advanced talks with the broadcasters that offered the coach a pundit role for Champions League games in 2021-22.

The Italian tactician is reportedly tempted by the offer and could accept it, while waiting for a new opportunity on the bench.

im really starting to think that he will come back if Inzaghi should get sacked. But i hope that simone will continue what conte did, im honestly sure that he can do that.

It all depends how Mou, Simone, Pioli will do next season. Which team will sack their coach first will bounce on him imo. Roma has money to spend now and Pioli has got plenty of chances too, Maldini could finally decide investing on quality coach. Delaurentis is a cheapskake, I doubt they are in the running.

So someone who couldn't perform in CL is going to tell the viewers how things should be handle in CL?
What do you mean? This Conte has no shame. After breaking all kind of records in CL(if I remember correctly it was our worst CL season ever?) with Inter he decided to go out and say that this Inter could challenge in CL during second half of the season.

He will handle the views easily with that DNA of his.

Typical, coach tactic really. Do your dog and pony show being an "expert analyst " and eventually a brain dead billionaire thinks your genius and it's back in the saddle again. Excellent strategy and you stay in the public eye.

Dang no Happy Birthday wish from the club towards him. Unless Brehme is in charge of the social media accounts this is very weird indeed

It is not really that weird. I think it’s confirmation that Conte, no matter what way you look at it, is a cunt.

The man delivered us a scudetto and walked away cause our owners aren’t continuing with the project they promised. If I was a manager with the drive to win I’d leave too. Life’s to short to be happy with the carpet being pulled from underneath you when you’ve worked so hard to build something good.

In wake of what has happened the last few days, this cunt has my respect even more. In a non - covid world this guy builds us a dynasty. You can already feel his effect wearing off. Hakimi is gone when he wanted to stay, Lukaku is being priced out of his happy place here, Lautaro next. After that what, the italians? Barella and Basto?

This cunt brought us back to a respectful level, and i am convinced Zhang and Co have butchered this winning side from top to bottom. Conte was probably told to go to avoid a mid-season finger point, Oriali told to leave as they knew he wouldn't be happy about more assets leaving, all the while Inzaghi has to sit there and smile because hey, how lucky are you to be coaching Inter...right? Lol comical. Wouldn't be surprised if he walks too. What a shame.

It is tragic and typically Inter. I cannot say that I am surprised and we can not say that we did not see it coming when Conte decided to leave.

I never thought there would be a repeat of 2010 when rather than trying to build on our achievements we simply imploded and disappeared into obscurity. Exactly the same thing is happening again.

It's actually pretty much the opposite. Back then we had a bunch of aging players on high salaries and it would have made sense to sell some of them and refresh our squad, whereas now we had a great young core and only needed to keep them around. We held when we should have sold, and are selling when we should hold.

The outcome is going to be the same though: 10 years of eating shit.
