The stupidest thing about this Conte ball nonsense is that how much better we'd be if we had Radja and Icardi right now.

... and it had nothing to do with Conte.

Whose place would Radja take in the midfield three of Barella-Brozovic-Sensi and be a big improvement? Also hasn't he missed like 3-4 games through injury already?

He has, i think the idea was that he would be a rotational piece, with Brozo sometimes needing resting and the other 2 incase of injuries or rest as well. Vecino and Borja seem to fit the bill well for Conte, but not for supporters.

I like Radja as a player, but would he be ok being mostly a bench player? I guess it really depends - if he would have been ok with that role and wouldn't cause any dressing room issues, that would be fine. However, given his recent injury history, I am not sure he would have been that much help for us. I would rather get a midfielder who can rotate with Sensi and contribute in the offensive phase of the game from midfield. I'm not sure in how good of a shape Radja is to play as a box to box anymore.

I like how Radja's physical condition to be part of the squad is called to question when Valero is still here.

Valero shouldn't be here though. I dont think anyone is advocating for him being a part of this team.

Then why didn't we loan him out at a deficit like Icardi, Perisic or Nainggolan? Based on his comments he seems forced out.

Maybe no one was willing to pay that salary for a player of Borja's age that can offer pretty much nothing. It's not as simple as just loaning a player out. Someone has to be willing to cover that salary. Its not as of we had those offers but decided to reject that to hold onto him.

We had offers to sell him from Fiorentina which were low and they also wouldn't cover the 100% of his salary so perhaps an additional factor was that we had to cover part of his current wages to accomodate that move.

I think its more he is needed as a backup, the fees and wages arent an issue, Perisic, Icardi and Radja proved that.

Wouldn't group him in with those. If anything, Miranda's contract termination proved that as it was a bigger capital hit and a heavier contract as well.

We kept asking for a minimal capital gain on him for some reason while Fiorentina was like 0-2m bids. His book value was/is roughly 2.5m so us asking for 3m was kind of weird.

Besides having the game all wrapped up, and we can then rest the player, is there a single reason Conte shouldn't be fielding Lukaku, Sanchez and Martinez all at the same time?

...but that might require Conte to change his system...and well...

2 not defending is already very bad for us in big games. 3 players not defending is suicide.

"...Andrea Candreva and Daniele De Ambrosio on the right."

"Lukaku especially can be used to win aerial out balls"

"The squad has enough depth to sustain the title challenge, especially in midfield"

"Lukaku especially can be used to win aerial out balls"

Lukaku was recently on lead in "aerial balls won" statistic, but he lost first position due to Sampdoria game miss:
https://en.as.com/resultados/futbol/italia/2019_2020/ranking/jugadores/duelos_aereos_ganados/
so I'm agree that Lukaku can be useful in aerial duels, but apart that I agree that the video could be better.

Personally I can recommend "PDS FC" channel which analyzes particular teams and their style of play. Here is Conte's Juventus:

The newest video which was published was Gasperini's Atalanta which is also quite interesting:

Yeah, I was amazed when I read the comments too, not one constructive argument or a discussion going on there. Their audience is fully consisting of consumers.

Statistically it's true. He is having a lot of aerial duels and winning the most of them. Without this data tho, simply by observing his game I'm pretty underwhelmed by his headed ability and his ability to guard the ball and bully opponents overall. Obviously he's not that bad tho.
