It is indeed meaningless shit. How did they calculate the virtual points? We got 3 errors for and 2 against? So one extra for against, still we should have one extra point?

I've not been active in this shitfest of a thread, eager to find someone to spot what Conte was blabbing about. Some have scratched the surface, but without realizing.

When Conte or an Italian coach in general talks about.... protection, he means off the field stuff.

It means:
- FIGC
- Refereeing

Those two. And they are usually the same thing.

"Protection" in this kind of environment has the tribal survival duality. Hunt or be hunted.

Since this gobbo has realized that Inter is not the villain club that he was taught in the FIAT Diving school and we don't practice the same shit they preach that we practice, he has come to a realization that he cannot win at Inter as long as Juventus has absolute control over the referees, the federation and all tose unofficial "decision making" boards. He is effectively telling the world that our Chinese owners have no clue of how to win in Italy, especially against this kind of enemy, and that our management is not ruthless enough to do what it takes to win.

If you think this is a cry for the media, that's absurd. Conte is one phone call away from making his view viral, he doesn't need to cry on television for that.

But he's got a funny discussion going here about himself.

Anyway, the only action Inter needs to take is reprimand Conte for saying that Inter won 3 in a row and not 4 in a row from 2006 to 2009. The rest should be dealt with the Inter way.

I think he was dissapointed with Marotta that is why he wants to bypass him and talk directly with Zhang jr. He was dissapointed because he expected Marotta to deal with club management and off-field problems just like he did at Jube. we might not have political clout as Gobbi in Italy, but I think its about time for the club stop whining at the situation and for the management start doing something, whatever that is or whatever Marotta can pull.

What a shitshow Never a dull moment, well at least off the pitch, with this club. This story should keep us well entertained for another month until the new season starts, with or without Conte. I for one welcome the insanity that will be 2020/21 in Serie A where we might or might not have a new manager, Leo Messi in nerazzurro and Borja Valero and Gagliardini inexplicably still logging major minutes.

I have a feeling that it wasn't just an outburst but actually Conte made that statement intentionally. Most probably he has something in mind and that comments were part of it.

I think this Conte-Marotta rift is being blown out of proportion by the media. Like everything else about Inter has been for a very long, long time. I would take this with a pinch of salt.

Yeah, Conte is cribbing and complaining. Nothing new about that. I think one of his regrets is that Inter did not complete the squad last summer. I remember Conte wanted 3 more players (Dzeko, Vidal and Alonso) to complete squad. I had mentioned last summer that if we give Conte these 3 players, we could compete for the Scudetto, specially coz Juve may take time to adjust to Sarriball. It wasn't a huge cost, maybe around 60m for those 3. And we could have compensated some of that by not getting Biraghi and selling one of Vecino or Gagliardini.

In hindsight, I think we definitely would have won the scudetto if we had got those 3 players last summer. Maybe Conte is salty about that. Its a big opportunity missed. Now Juve have had 1 year to adjust to Sarriball and will get another window to make the squad more suitable for Sarri. It will be a lot harder next season.

So maybe part of this outburst is as a result of that frustration, and make sure the management does invest properly this time.
