Only good coach we've had since Mourinho and some didn't even want him because of his past. I think this scudetto with Conte will be the only scudetto for a loooooooooooooooong while.

Maybe, but with conte at least the players had some discipline and more or less everyone knew what they need to do..
Honestly i really like inzaghi, but we can see ther is no discipline and the players just going forward without any attacking plan and also leave huge holes in our defense..

10 years of FIFI swing between a strong dislike and sadness when it comes to Antonio Conte.
I feel angry about the empty words and gestures that followed winning the championship and the manner in which Conte left. When it comes to the club, I feel sad when I look at how things were, the solid foundations that were established and how things now stand.
One persistent thought that I had during the opening eight weeks of the season is that the importance of a coach should never be underestimated. Just like the contribution of a player like Lukaku can not be discounted in the role he played for the team.
Yes, Conte decided to leave but Suning's appointment of Simone Inzaghi was a formation hire. Based on what we have seen so far, there is not much substance to Inzaghi's appointment. Our owners were mistaken for thinking that they could lose Conte and continue in the same vain based simply on formation.
They failed to take into consideration that Inzaghi would not be able to motivate the team in the same way Conte did or at least accepted that it would be different. Not to mention the failure to replace players that made a valuable contribution last season.
We are a team that is a shadow of its former self. A team that lacks substance and cohesion that now looks dysfunctional in a 3-5-2. And perhaps the most disheartening part is that some of the frailties and attributes that were a large part of our play for the last decade are starting to reappear, as if last season was an anomaly. All the talk about Inter being strong was media hype. So too was talk from the club about being a main protagonist this season.
At management level, there has probably been a quiet revision of our goals for the season where the club will be happy with fourth place in the championship. Personally, I find it very difficult to accept winning the championship and then simply giving it up the following season.
We have clearly taken a backward step and will remain stuck in reverse until Suning no longer have a say in the management and ownership of the club.
More than anything, I think we need to accept that things are going to be different and not in a positive way or any way that we anticipated.

10 years of FIFI posted about towards the end of last season. I was of the view that it was the best time to sell but many posters felt it was too early due to: (1) Covid; (2) the fact that we would probably have to take a hit on our asking price; (3) finiding a new main sponsor; (4) fans not being in the stadium; and (5) the stadium project not being finalised.
Suning's asking price of a billion dollars is too much. By failing to sell, anmd not being ablke to adeqauately reinfoirce the squad, they will condemn us to a slow death and another decade of living in the shadows.

Best Football PosterBest Overall PosterThey should have went for Conte when they fired Mourinho. That squad was perfect for Conte. But the current Man Utd squad is a bad fit for Conre. It will take time for Conte to mold Man Utd into his style and i don't know if they have the patience for it.
Conte is also a bad fit for Man Utd fans and what they expect to see. Conte's counter attacking style isn't going to be appreciated at Old Trafford and especially his preference towards experienced players.
