like he deserves credit for the Scudetto, he also deserves shit for the CL performance
Well, to be fair last year's group was a lot more difficult than this years. I know Sheriff had a nice early start, but let's be real, when we drew them everyone here chalked that up as an easy six points. Last year there wasn't a pushover team like that.

Conte completely failed in the UCL, don't get me wrong.

1 win in 6 home games is embarrassing. And who did we fail to beat? Slavia Prague, Borussia Moenchengladbach, Shakhtar. Not even a single point vs Real and Barcelona IN TOTAL.

Quality also can't be an excuse, since Conte had a stronger team himself last year.

To be honest, I thought about him this morning after our win against Shaktar.

The question I asked myself was whether he might be thinking that he pulled the trigger too early. Or perhaps a 7 million handshake, increased salary at Spurs and inheriting a bunch of London shitters means that he would not really be thinking about Inter too much.

Conte walking makes me respect Inzaghi more. Inevitably, in terms of career trajectory, the latter had to step up but in comparison to Conte, he is working with a weakened squad and still making it work. I have the upmost respect for him. His attitude and the way he goes about his work is admirable.

Personally, I feel Conte could have also made it work for another season but he is an impulsive prima dona Hunchback that prefers to throw his toys out his pram and quit rather than than take a wait a see approach.

Our lives are a lot more tranquil and peaceful now that he has gone.

Fact is in both season all we needed was a win against Shaktar. Conte couldn't deliver, Inzaghi did.

Antonio, are you okay? :ROFLMAO:

Personally, I feel slighted that he left Inter for Spurs.

I hope his salary at Spurs is a comfort to him because he is not going to get much satisfactiion from their results.

Agreed. I do sometimes get angry at the fact he left us because we were going to be weaker this season only to end up eventually at a hilariously poor Tottenham team. Tottenham which nowadays thinks it’s a big boy but in actuality isn’t and has owners that won’t spend the money needed to change that.

I will enjoy match of the day though despite being a bit butthurt that him leaving probably cost us retaining the league this year.

Had Inter played in that Conference League I want us to lose asap and I am not lying a bit. A waste of time a resource.

Group winner gains about some hundred k. What's the point of running your ass off to make others (UEFA) richer?!? Show them the middle finger and focus on the league.
