I agree Dzeko is a huge problem but under Conte we never had a 4-5 game slide like what we’re having now in Serie A. We always rebounded and when we had a chance to put our foot on competitors necks we did.
When we're about to compare two coaches we should also compare the elements they had at their disposal. I don't know why people keep ignoring that and go on making judgments like: "that would have never happened under that guy"!!

Coaches don't play this game. They have certain influences and the rest is down to the players they have, the match incidents, the refs decisions, injuries and fatigue and etc...

Conte also made many controversial and questionable decisions despite having a better squad. His team was dreadful to watch but we made the most out of the few chances we made under him to win matches; unlike this season where we create more but convert less. And I believe getting an early elimination in the group stage of CL also helped Conte a lot to win the Scudetto last season.

But people keep coming up here once in a while saying the size of his mouth was the difference maker compare to Inzaghi! We have to consider many options when we're about to compare these two and not just how loud they could shout. You can't make footballers younger and better by just shouting at them. He had 3 influential players that are no longer here. Had he still played Gagliardini and Young ahead of Eriksen and Perisic I'm not even sure we could win the title last season.

We can keep on saying this coach is better than that one, but we can't neglect a crucial fact about how the players play the part in helping these coaches to win matches and titles. We had several chances to score last night but the likes of Dzeko and Dimarco ruined them. Imagine we had Lukaku and Hakimi instead of them. Then people were going to hail Inzaghi and his GREAT setup and decisions in turning the match around!

Coaches make a difference for sure, but it's the players who play the game. We had a meltdown in our treble season too, losing a big lead to AS Roma and it was tnx to their loss to Sampdoria that we took the first place back. This data for example say the coaches' influences are far less than many people assume:

We were second in his first season and reached Europa League cup final

You make it sound like we were 15th

We finished second on the last matchday and we were fortunate enough to not get affected by thr pandemic, plus we benefited from the 5 subs rule.

Lazio was on a more promising Scudetto run than us and collapsed because they couldn't handle 2 games a week.

2nd my ass, scudetto was over 10 weeks before ending of season, we were never contender for scudetto. Europa league with no top team to beat till finale where we lost immediately.

Conte is better than Inzaghi
Lukaku is better than Icardi
Vidal is better than Eriksen
Marotta is better than Moratti

Watching Spurs yesterday, could help feeling that they play more like Scudetto champions Inter 2020-21, than the current Inter. He is transforming that loser team.

He brought them into top4, although Arsenal has 2 fewer games and are in a very good form (I quite like Arsenal this season tbh).

The way things stand, one of Arsenal/Tottenham can even overtake Chelsea for the 3rd spot.

Watching the 3-1 I felt immediately like I was watching Inter. Running into space, the build up etc. Nailed it to the ground. I know for sure if you watch some goals we scored under Conte it was a exact copy.

Conteball is effective, at least as far the league goes. If they reach top4 spot at the end, they'll be top4 next season too. Some players are apparently leaving EPL, for example Salah.

But Spurs will stay the same.

I think if Levy supports Conte in the summer, and Paratici doesn't waste that money away as usual, Spurs could mount a title challenge. They need at least 2-3 top players to do that, but with Conte its possible.

Unless if they sell Kane to United and use a part of that money for Lautaro

Told my arsenal supporting friend exactly this when he was hired. He laughed at first but he's starting to get a bit worried

Kulusevski is a fantastic signing and they needed someone like Bentacur. He's already shown good transfer accumen. They're in for SDV/Toro in summer too.. I'm sure if he stays and has a summer window behind him he will be a problem, a real problem.

I have a weird theory.
1st Conte was and always will be juventino. 2nd, he thinks he is by far the best coach in the world. So he came to inter, built a winning team, then left, but only to go back to Juve so he could destroy the team he built, which is the only challenge left, beating himself.
