Agnelli is clearly trying to persuade Conte back. Maybe that happens next summer, maybe it will never happen. Point is Agnelli is taking the steps to build bridges like brehme said. Agnelli has realized Allegri was a big, costly mistake. If it looks grim after World Cup, he's probably gonna throw a kitchen sink to Allegri to secure the top4. Then he's gonna be out next summer.

lol, you meant the recency. see the sentence has a double meaning, but I gotcha. Anyway... I doubt Conte would want to return to rubentus after they removed him from their "hall of fame" and how their fans mocked him during derbys. I also think now that he found a more stable, backing board in Tottenham owners, he can finally enjoy finishing a project he started. 10 years of FIFIt seems inevitable conte would come back to rube. Allegri has been a disaster so far and conte needs a backup destination if he eventually has fallout with Tottenham management. Just hope we already have changed ownership which grants us money else the title will go back to rube unchallenged.
