Vidal hasn't been worth his wages yet, but I wouldn't put him in the Ninja category yet. Not just coz Vidal cost us nothing while Ninja was very expensive, but mainly coz of the attitude difference. Vidal's first season has been marred with injuries, but he always gives his 100% on the pitch and improves our intensity when he plays. Ninja used to be like that, but not since he joined Inter - he has been treating Inter like a nice retirement home. That is the main difference. I don't mind Vidal in our squad, coz if by chance he stays relatively injury free, he will give us 5-10 goals a season and some good intensity ie I haven't given up hope on him yet. I think he might have 1 decent season left in him, injuries permitting.

Like I said before, I hadn't given up on Vidal. The intensity he brings can be useful this season, specially coz our bench still lacks quality. I much rather see Vidal coming on for the last 20-30 minutes than Gagliardini or Vecino. His cameo in our first game kinda showed why.

Frankly his intensity isn't an issue. The problem was he was too eager to prove himself in the limited time he had, and ended up doing reckless tackles and losing his position. Vidal just needs to chill like Perisic after his Bayern loan. Both are 30+. Both have proved their worth in their early career. They just need to play smart like Dzeko.
