Its just a rumour. I don't see Vidal leaving unless he has a falling out with the coach.

Also, I would rather have Vidal as first back up rather than Gagliardini or Vecino. He brings energy into the midfield, plays with the right mentality and we know he is capable of far more than what he has shown so far. Vidal was a match winner for us in our biggest game of the season, one of the games which possibly turned around our season. He could be useful when he regains full fitness. Like I have said before, champions like Vidal are important off the pitch too.

Its been a poor start to his Inter career, but I still believe he can turn it around and be a useful impact player off the bench for us.

Inter’s Arturo Vidal Recovering ‘Quicker Than Expected’ After Knee Surgery, Italian Media Reveal

Arturo Vidal’s recovery from knee surgery is proceeding even faster than Inter had expected, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said Antonio Conte was keeping a particularly close eye on the midfielder’s progress after his squad was decimated by players departing for international duty.

Vidal will soon return to full-time training and hopes to be available for Conte at the start of April, just after Inter’s trip to Bologna on April 3.

He underwent surgery to cure meniscal pain in his left knee on March 12 and was originally expected to be out for around 25-30 days.

Vidal, Alexis Sanchez and Lautaro Martinez are not part of Inter’s international break controversy after South America’s football federation CONMEBOL postponed this week’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers due to COVID-19.

Conte was not pleased to see Inter’s seven non-Italian players cleared to travel home by Milan’s local health authority yesterday, but he will certainly be happy the above-named trio are staying at Appiano Gentile for the next fortnight.

Vidal, Sanchez and Lautaro have the chance to work on their fitness and make sure they are raring to go when Inter return to Serie A action against Bologna.

Arturo Vidal has reportedly not met the expectations at Inter and seems set to leave already after one season with the Nerazzurri.

Il Corriere dello Sport claims Inter are prepared to let the former Barcelona player leave after one season, as his yearly salary will increase from €5m to €6.5m in his second campaign.

Flamengo, Olympique Marseille and Galatasaray have been mentioned as possible suitors.

I don`t think Vidal would just walk away that easily from this contract ;)

He will, when we pay a severance fee of 2-3m.

Actually it was excellent. Hopefully now when Conte ask for new players then Marotta can go and use this as an example of how shit Conte is at choosing players.

Arturo Vidal’s entourage assure he will ‘not leave Inter until his contract expires,’ despite reports linking him with Marseille, Flamengo and Galatasaray.

However, according to ADN Deportes radio in Chile, Vidal’s entourage sent a clear message:

“Arturo will not leave Inter until his contract expires” in June 2022, and even that deal has an option to extend.

Enjoy Vidal :p

He would be perfect fit in Eriksen position in this system, shit thing is he's injured or in bad form. Vidal from Rube game would be ideal, he would bring that needed determination and phisicality what we lack from last games. Also some players deserve few slaps in the face to wake the fuck up. Vidal would be also ideal man for that. I'm pretty sure we would beat all those bottom shitty clubs like Cagliari and Spezia with more ease with Vidal in squad. Btw when he's coming back?

Honestly, the signing was worth it just for the goal against Juve. It clearly gave the team the belief it needed to get the win and snowball into the scudetto from there.

Disastrous CL campaign obviously not forgiven, but I’d get him again.

If I have to pick a game which turned our season, it was that one. Inter have been like a different team since that game, its almost like the Scudetto baton was passed on to us.

I don't know about that. It obviously was a huge win but few days later we dropped points at Friuli. For me the most crucial moments of our Serie A campaign were the match at Bergamo when Conte finally realised 3-4-1-2 was a failed experiment and switched back to 3-5-2 and the derby win against Milan when we remained top of the table, increased our distance from our rivals and never looked behind again.

Dude is a winner. I wanted him around the time we got Guarin. Dude was just the best mf in South America. We got him too late. He is a great bench option just not for his insane wages.

So much for bringing the champion mentality to the squad, more like a loser than anything, now fuck off.

In other news, Vidal wins his 9th league title in 10 years. 4 different clubs, across 3 different top leagues.
