We will pay him on his way out.
I M Charity.

FcInterNews.it said the Nerazzurri had told the players’ agent Fernando Felicevich to find new clubs for both players (Vidal and Sanchez), because they can no longer afford their salaries. Inter would be willing to let both leave for free, so long as they can save money on the Chilean duo’s heavy salaries.
=> Sanchez is said to be willing to make a gesture to spread his wage from 7M to 5M/season by extending his contract. So he would earn 15m in 3 years instead of 14m in 2 years. At least we know he WANTS to stay and give his all.

Print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio would welcome the departure of the 34-year-old Chilean midfielder.

Speaking to Calciomercato.it earlier this week, Inter fan Fabrizio Biasin said: “Inter want Vidal to leave, for the simple reason that they know they made a mistake to sign him.”

Now some [hopefully true] GOOD NEWS: Arturo Vidal could leave Inter and move to Mexico this summer, according to a leading Spanish broadcaster today.

beIN SPORTS Español (via FcInterNews.it) have revealed Club America are preparing to move for the Inter midfielder, who is expected to leave the Nerazzurri.

Vidal has already spoken to Club America and given his blessing to a deal, having previously stated he would be interested in playing for them one day. The 34-year-old has talked to their head coach Santiago Solari, who once played for Inter, and seems willing to join the Azulcremas.

I don't believe Vidal wants to move out of Europe yet. Would be great though, need to get rid of that salary desperately.

The problem is no club is going to be willing to come anywhere close to his current wages. We'll have to give him a Golden Handshake to incentivize him to leave.

I'll take any savings we can get, though. This guy can't stay fit and was a complete headcase in the majority of the matches he played. Thanks for the goal against Juve; it changed the trajectory of our season. Otherwise? GTFO.

The sooner we do it the better.

No way the Mexican club plays him 1/3rd our wages at that point offer him what they would.

Him to leave Europe to Mexico for 1/3rd the salary might as well stay

Schira - Not only Olympique Marseille, even Trabzonspor and Besiktas have asked info for Arturo Vidal, who is set to leave Inter this summer. His salary is too high (€6,5M) and he is not in Simone Inzaghi’s plans.

Vidal has to go, never had any part of our club. I am just worried he will leave on one of these deals "1m + 500k if he plays 50 games and Inter will pay 60% of his wages for 2 season"

Yeah I'm afraid he's gonna demand a golden handshake. That wouldn't make much sense as we need to get a replacement player. And if that replacement player plays with lets say 4m€ gross salary (2m€ net if acquired inside Italy), then we don't save much if we end up paying like half of Vidal's salary next season (10m€ gross) since we need to pay some transfer fee too for the replacement player.

big question too is what happens with eriksen. If he has to retire, we're suddenly left with an injured Sensi, and Vidal/Gags/Vecino for midfield, which is a mess.

Golden handshakes when you have no money makes no sense

Like Conte cost us what we won’t accept for Joao to go!!

Now we let Vidal and Sanchez leave for more than we are willing to pay Lautaro a season or Barella.

These are bad moves pre covid due to the high wages of players. No one else wanted either player and he gave them stupid high wages

Lesson learned don’t do it again. See if they will take a pay cut to stay without making their contract longer neither of these dudes will be good in 2 years. But we aren’t going to find better players for less money.

Both Beşiktaş and Trabzon can't afford his salary. Not even the half of his salary. Schira is dreaming.

Yeah. That would save us his gross salary of over 11m€ (insurance will handle this), but we keep paying his 6m€ amortization cost. Basically it leaves us with 5m€ to be used for the annual costs (amortization cost + gross salary) of a new player (if we are thinking replacing him).

Better to keep Vidal and use him instead of paying him to leave. Fuck that. Sick of this shit.

Agreed. He can still do a job for us, he just isn’t starting material.
