Nope it was a hairdresser. Or maybe a "hairdresser". Anyways you don't need a hairdresser to fix his hair, any razorblade would do.

Not his fault, Adriano and Moratti started the trend of getting the salary from Inter while playing for their dream team.

"I only came to Inter for Conte, because he knows me as a player and as a person. During the year he obviously tells you things to your face. He knows what we have won and how I am made. Future? I'm not in a hurry. I would like to stay in Europe in a team that has to fight for important things. I don't know if another year or two. But by important things I also mean the Champions League" - Vidal in May 2021 interview for TNT Data Sports.

CdS: His contract is considered excessive for a player not in the centre of plans for the upcoming season. The Nerazzurri are considering making a small financial sacrifice of a severance fee in order to avoid the larger blow of having to pay out the entirety of the wages owed to the player, should it mean he is off their books for next season.

Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo: the Chilean is subject to interest from clubs in Major League Soccer in addition to South American clubs such as Flamengo and Boca Juniors. No offers at the moment.

Paying half of his salary as severance pay would almost negate the advantage we would get by getting rid of him. Since we need to replace him. Only case is if he's replaced by some youngster or other low-salaried player so that we would net some profit in the "swap".

If Vidal would accept like 1-1.5m€ net, then I'd guess it could make sense for Inter.

Not necessary. We have actually too many midfielders: Brozo-Barella- Calha as starters. Sensi, Gags, Vecino as substitute. If we transfer Nahitan, he could play as a rwb and also by necessity midfielder. And maybe Eriksen will be also able to play. We could theoretically let both Vecino and Vidal go and we are decent covered. The 6th midfileder anyway is playing only a few minutes for a few games.

Sure but if we add Nandez that is reportedly 2.5-3m€ net salary. Vidal makes 6.5m€ with Growth Decree so the gross is close to 10m€. Paying him 5m€ gross would yes save us 5m€. But all the saved money would go to Nandez salary.

So we would effectively swap Vidal to Nandez and save no salary. If that is the intention all along, then it's okay. But let's see if Vidal can get any decent offers. He can walk away for free from the contract he has with Inter (which is paying him too well) so if there's just club who is willing to pay enough, he can leave without any negotiations with Inter.

Sure, but my idea was that we can get rid of both Vidal and Vecino and get Nandez who could cover more positions.
If I remember correctly Marotta said we need to make 90-100m from sales and also reduce the bill with 10-20%.
We could calculate somehow the salaries. Nandez takes Vecino salary and Perisic will agree to reduce his wages for another year contract and with this reduction we could accomodate DiMarco. Also we flip Pinamonti for Keita Balde in the same salary. We save Vidal's and Young's salaries. Also Nainggolan and Mario (the percentage we pay for them). Kolarov, Rano and Dumbo on paycuts.
I don't know exactly what are the numbers between Conte plus Spaletti' salaries versus Conte's golden handshake and Inzaghi's salary.
If all this move bring us in the number we need, Inzaghi would have a pretty good roster to fight with. I just don't believe in repeat but for the places 2-4 is more than adequat.

Yeah that makes sense.

Conte + Spalletti vs Conte handshake + Inzaghi difference is around Spalletti's salary.

The cases of Nainggolan and Vidal are prime examples why you should never give too much power to the coach in the transfer market. The coach can make his requests but the final word should always be on the sporting director. While the director is responsible for the midterm future of the club, coach only cares about now and immediate success as his job security depends on it. Sooner or later the coach will be gone but the club will be stuck with his players who may be of no use to the next coach.

Well Vidal was Conte's request and Vidal played for Conte quite a lot before his injuries. He scored against Juve. We got the Scudetto. I can't be mad about this signing.

Aftermath is what it is, we need to just take care of it, it's the payment for the amazing Scudetto season. It's part of the whole thing and can't be looked in isolation.
