Form is temporary, class is permanent. Injuries fucked Vidal's first season at Inter. But his attitude and work ethic always indicated that its only a matter of time before he shows his class. Just like Sanchez, whose first season was a write-off due to injury but played a big role in the Scudetto win in his 2nd season.

Lets just hope Vidal stays injury free. He can be an important supersub for us this season, along with Sanchez and Correa.

He really meant it when he said we will see the true Vidal this year.

He was great. His slowness is visible time to time but as long as he adjusts his game to his current speed, it's going to be fine. Given he doesn't get injured again.

I'm Chilean and I don't want to defend Vidal just for the shirt.

But who the hell is the one who will take balls in the center if he is not there? the other defensive players are pretty generic.

A competitive team cannot compete with dignity (at UCL) without a rival game-destroying midfielde.

It wasn't injuries, but Conte's tactics at the beginning of last season that fucked him (and Inter). Making him play as regista instead of Brozovic, the playmaking or aggressive positioning from wide defenders, all those were bad calls. Later Vidal got injured, and could never get the rhythm, especially with the others performing consistently.

I've been saying throughout the mercato that he can be a big weapon for us. It's not just his ability, but his mentality. Vidal has always been a winner, and would feel that he hasn't shown that at Inter yet. He will not want to tarnish his legacy.

Yeah, we can be a weapon if he stays healthy.

His flaw will be he's not fast anymore. He's aggressive but by being slow, he tends to be late in challenges and everything he does. It burnt him many times last season, also before he got injured. Let's hope he can adjust his playing style to his current speed, otherwise it will be disasters waiting.

He's been useful and played well the last two games as sub, does not change my opinion that he should be sold. Like I said in a previous post.. any combination of vecino/gags/vidal to leave is good with me. Pref to keep Vecino from the 3.
