It has to be Gags I think. This guy has looked too unsteady in possession recently. It’s saying something when I trust Gags more in possession.
Yeah and against Liverpool the issue will be a raw speed. Gagliardini will at least run all over the place and against things and people, Vidal can't even do that anymore because he's just too slow.

Getting really concerned about starting him against Liverpool. He looks lost on the pitch. With Gags we can at least assign him one task and he'll do it (kinda) well. With Vidal, I don't even know what we could expect him to do.

I do not think you can expect anything from Vidal other than him running around like a headless chicken, misplaced passes, putting in late tackles and card of either the yellow or red variety. It goes without saying that none of what I have described is what Inter as a team, expect him to do.

It is no coincidence that each time he comes on, we go to shit and end up conceding.

I used to think that he could manage being a substitute but he is well and truly done.

The sad thing for us is that we will have to endure and put up with his below par performances until the end the season without having a viable substitute option.

The worst thing is that we'll have to rely on him on both legs against Liverpool. Much as I despise Vecino, from a tactical point of view I am wondering if he could be more useful for us. At least his tackle is less reckless and he seems to have more dominance in aerial duels.

Gagliardini more useful in marking than Vecino, i prefer Gags.
Vidal already done, can't do anything.

I think we are going to seriously regret the decisions to loan out Sensi and not bring in a back up midfielder during the winter transfer window.

Really wanted him in 2018 when he was all but signed. We had second thoughts due to his injury and opted with Keita instead, different strategy.
But damn, he's the worst signing purely based on performance on the pitch we've made since Spalletti arrived and the "new project" was in effect.
And it takes an effort to beat Kolarov.

Look at the bright side he didn't get a yellow or a red card today. This presupposes you actually have to be involved in the match for that to occur.
