Atalanta are shit lately. Against Samp they made two stupid mistakes which cost them the game.
How many players from our squad are out for this game?

I hope Vecino will be ready for this one.

If Valero starts we are not winning this.

Same applied with Torino away.

Last few years (since Torino returned to Serie A), we never win both games there. But we also do not lose both games there. So if history repeats itself we're at least bracing ourselves with a draw. Pathetic though, we should have been aiming at a 4/4 until the Juve game.

Atalanta are out of form, but we can't score (again). This screams draw.

Pathetic though, we should have been aiming at a 4/4 until the Juve game.

There's no other word for it. Completely unfathomable how this dipshit team can't keep it together against small teams. Who cares if Torino flogged two relegation teams in the previous matches? Torino are shit and fucking Belotti is shit. Urbano Cairo wants 100m for him? I wouldn't take him for 30m.

To be honest, I'm still completely tilted by the derby match. It's hard to blame the team when it was obviously Icardi who horrendously missed two complete spoonfed, game-winning chances. But it's just indicative how how we simply cannot take advantage, even when it is fucking given to us. We also, cannot come from behind to win. Fun fact - the last time we came from behind to win was round 2 against Roma. In the fucking thirty matches since, if the opponent scores first, we're fucking done. Zero chance of a victory. That's fucking pathetic. That's a fucking Benevento-level statistic.

Even though I never really bought into this mini-revival of the positive results from the Napoli, Samp and Verona matches, this is still incredibly disappointing. It's the final stretch and it's fucking make or break for the champions league. We had the opportunity to advance our chances to secure top 4 and deliver a big blow to Milan at the same time. We fucked it up with that dogshit derby. This matchday, Roma fucking lost at home, and then we go and do this shit - missing yet another opportunity fucking gifted to us. I'm not jumping to conclusions but it's as if now, with genuine Champions League qualification realistically in our sights, these fucking pussies can't handle it. They've grown comfortable and complacent in underachieving. The remainder of the season will be extremely telling as to whether we can consider the team as :notbad: or just another year of :palm:

Not jumping to conclusions either positive or negative. But at this stage, we're going to be in full-fledged panic mode if we don't win against Atalanta. And with fucking performances like that the past two matches, who honestly expects a confident victory at Bergamo?

Another fun note - as I type this, we've dropped to 5th and we're out of the Champions League as it stands. Lazio are 2-1 ahead at the Friuli. Udinese scored first, but Lazio responded with two goals in the first half, to completely turn the result around, something we're apparently completely incapable of doing. They're at 70% ball possession and they look completely comfortable. So, barring a miracle, we'll be 5th, chasing 4th place, when just 7 days ago we had the chance to take 3rd place by the balls. From having 3rd place literally waved in our face to 5th. fucking Inter. Fucking cunts.

Really expected at least a draw with Torino, but this defeat was a kick in the balls.
Now we are 5th and have very little hope for a win against Atalanta.
A team full of chokers, when it's getting tough, they surrender.
Only Lazio deserves CL, at leats they show some grinta, not like us or Roma, two fucking chokers.

Not really. It depends on who wins the Roma derby. If Lazio wins the derby, we will still have a shot. If Roma wins the derby, our door is almost closed.

It also depends a lot on how Roma and Lazio will perform, as they've their decrease in performance has led them to lose quite a few points in the last few matches...

Last 5 matches:

Lazio
1-2 Win vs Udinese
6-2 Win vs Benevento
1-1 Draw vs Bologna
2-2 Draw vs Cagliari
0-1 Loss vs Juventus

Roma
0-2 Loss vs Viola
1-1 Draw vs Bologna
0-2 Win vs Crotone
3-0 Win vs Torino
2-4 Win vs Napoli

Roma will most likely be going down hill from here like how they ended the first half of the season despite they have the easiest path compared to Inter and Lazio.

Lazio will fluctuate every 2 - 3 good games followed by 2 - 3 bad games. If they qualify to semifinal in Europa League, they will have to play twice weekly for next 4 weeks.
Salzburg, Roma, Fiorentina, Sampdoria, SF1, Torino, SF2, Atalanta. With Fiorentina, Sampdoria and Atalanta probably still lurking into Europa League spots.

Champions League is pretty much impossible now, we need to win 5 of the last 7 matches [we play against Atalanta (A), Cagliari (H), Chievo (A), Juventus (H), Udinese (A), Sassuolo (H), Lazio (A)] to get to 74 points, that pretty much secures us the 4th spot at least. However we're definitely dropping points in the winnable games so at best we'll win 4 of the last 7 matches, that's 71 points so we'll need that one of those 4 wins to be against Lazio to have a chance. Anything less and we're completely out of chances.

That is only if Lazio can survive playing 2x a week for the next 4 weeks. Lazio has not won more than 3 games in a row since November.

All we need is just to win 1 more game than what Lazio will do. If Lazio win 3, we need 4.

Yeah, that's what I said at the bare minimum we need to win 4 of the last 7, anything less and we're completely out of chances. If both Roma and Lazio go in a good run towards the end of the season, we'll need 5 in 7, which it's pretty much impossible.

I honestly don't see us even winning 4 of the last 7 much less 5, so IMO we're already out of CL for next season.
