Everytime I predict a win on here we always end up losing; so I wont, but I will say that I think this game suits us tactically very well. Atalanta do not want to dig in and we've seen that teams who don't respect our transitional play have gotten smacked (Fiorentina and Milan come to mind). Idk maybe Atalanta midfield and defenders will play out of their skulls, but I don't see Atalanta covering themselves well defensively for 90'. They have some good Attacking players but no one who really scares you. Inter just need to stay compact and be clinical in front of goal at least once or twice.

From set pieces they always are dangerous with us. So if they don't score from some corner or a crossing free kick, I think we will win.

I suspect this is one of those games we're going to take a beating - maybe not so much in the scoreboard, but in terms of getting overwhelmed and being on the back foot for large parts of the game, like our match against Sociedad. I hope Inzaghi has developed his defensive tactics because the "hold on for dear life" approach is hardly reliable.

How much we rotate Bastoni is really interesting. Also interesting that it’s always Acerbi who isn’t very mobile. However perhaps the most interesting thing of all is that he always does well and I’m pretty sure our record with him playing at LCB is really good.
