I might be talking complete BS but it feels like the majority of our new members get banned. Is it just me?

Are there any stats to show total no. of new members in the last year vs those not banned?

Don’t get me wrong, if they’re banned it’s probs cause they deserved it. More just interested in the % that make the cut 🤣😂

Yeah, it's no secret that member growth is non-existent. We get two to five new members a year who actually contribute to the forum. The majority of new registrants are either spamming some scam product or just a troll.

It’s odd cause in one hand it sucks that member growth is virtually non existent but in the other hand it’s nice being part of this smaller community.

New blood is nice, but we've got a good group. Hopefully being out of the Banter era leads to a new generation of fans. We probably didn't attract any young fans for a solid five years.

It has to grow now in term of forum. Young people tend to like short attention grabbing platform, quick meme. The closest thing is discord and it’s still not the same. On other hand, if new members stay in forum, they tend to stick around for long.

Forums aren't being used that much over the last few years. Reddit, Discord and some other social networks have taken over though. It's very practical and easy to browse and write posts through the phone.

your post reminded me how I recently, out of nostalgia, started looking for chatting websites where I used to chat 20+ years ago. WhatsApp, Telegram are more practical, but damn, I miss the old days so much. Old is gold
