Decades? Italian Serie A is as good as the Bundesliga, if not better. La Liga is falling down, soon they will be worse than Serie A and Bundesliga.
If Italy get theyr new stadiums I can see no reason why Serie A can't become the best league again.

He meant in terms of reputation, I believe.

Juve has done more to hurt serie a than bayern has ffs. Anyone who says otherwise may as well be just trolling

yeah, reputation, financially and in terms of infrastructure.

we need far more than some new stadia but at least that would be a start when it eventually happens. Ligue 1 will probably be a head of us in most scales of measurement soon

Nah, we should hope that teams like Jubentus, Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina should be kicked out in the first round of all European Cups. Oh, and Italy cheated in World Cup 1934 - so let's ban them too.

who said milan lazio and fiorentina? juve are a different matter entirely, and their cheating directly effected us and was within the last decade

if you cant distinguish the difference between all this and how it has effected and is still effecting us then your no better than your average juve fan anyway tbh

nothing will make up for it, only time will reduce the damage they done

Then Milan is cheating since decades! At least from 1980 to 2006! So ban them, now!

Same goes for Lazio. Guilty 1980, guilty 2006. And their fans are destroying the reputation of the Serie A more than Jubentus in the last years.

at what point did i say ban anyone?

as far as calciopoli goes if you cant see the level which juve cheated and how much it was focused around them compared to the others then there's not much point in going any further. you'd be as well buying one of there shirts at this rate...

i dont support the others in Europe but i don't particularly want them to lose (unless milan were in a final)

although the lazio fans have done serie a's rep no favours, comparing that to calciopoli is just ibecilic

I don't know what fans and medias are saying in Scotland, but here, in Austria, Germany, they are all talking more about racist fans, rotten and empty stadiums and the betting scandal. And how strong Jubentus is again. Calciopoli - nobody cares here anymore.

yeah, serie A is on the downfall. complete shit. thank god we have bayern, the "true model" of a football club.

Its funny how all it takes is to put your sugar daddies logo on your shirt, and suddenly you're not a money club.

xxp.png

Hey, guys. Look at PSG. They've got a new "sponsor". They're everything that's right with football. Unlike that Manchester City with those Arab Sheiks. Club money should come from sponsors not sugar daddies. Stupid Manchester City, why cant you be more like PSG.

neuer, mandzukic, gomez, etc...

This is either trolling or incredibly stupid.

What about Buffon, Chiellini, Simone Pepe, Vucinic, Giovinco, Barzagli, Bonnucci, Pirlo, Asamoah, Cunt face Lichtsteiner, Quagliarella, Matri, Isla and several 100s of players I have missed.

With the money they spent on Martinez, that's for sure what they expected. You think just dishing 40 million dollars on a player they dont even need is ok?

Not to mention other buys like Mandzukic, Shaqiri, etc...They dished near 100 million on one market, on players they dont even need. How much did Rube spend?

And my point was not only academy. But good coaching, tactics, scouting a whole variety of criteria.

They are a fucking money club, and there's no denying it. Forget this whole ticket revenue bullshit. How much profit do these teams make at most? like 20-30m? does that justify all these tens of millions theyre spending every transfer market.

Maybe you're comfortable selling your club out to Wall St. Banker Cronies, but the sooner we get this type of money out of games, the better it is. They're turning into the Madrid of early 2000s.

Im not saying money shouldnt be a factor, but this is fucking ridiculous. This isn't a god damn business competition. Every time a good German talent comes in Bundesliga, they just buy it from their competitors. What kind of a game is that?

If that's your idea of wrong football, you might wanna look back and see where milan and juve got their players before the calciopoli.
They STOLE them from other clubs within the league with blackmails (cannavaro) and using political background (nesta). Clubs like Udinese has been notorious for feeding their players to Juve. Anything you can come up with the word 'ridiculous', seriea A has done it far before and far worse.

Juve has harmed Serie A a lot. But then Bayern have also harmed Bundesliga by always buying the top players and weakening other teams etc. But Bundesliga has still grown a lot in spite of Bayern's dominance. Serie A has weakened since there are no revenues, there are poor stadia, violence, racism so families and crowds don't go to watch many matches. To add to it, the prices are very high and the economy is fucked up. The damage is more than what Juve caused or what Calciopoli caused. Juve is at least leading the way now with a modern stadium.

For Serie A to get back up, a lot more is needed than Juve to win a few pathetic CL matches. Unless the bigger problems of stadia, racism are overcome, everything else will just be a drop in the ocean.

And yes, fuck Juve, fuck Bayern.

Yes, we all love Jubentus! We all love it because we say it's better when they win against Bayern, another team nobody likes!

You should overcome that Calciopoli shit and look what's better for the league. My gosh, you remind me of this pathetic Jubentus fans with their "30 titles"-choreography. Or you are a Bayern fan trolling around ...

Damn, what am I reading here? :chan:

1. Fuck Jube
2. Fuck Bayern
3. fuck Bbilan

There are only 4 Italian clubs I support In European competitions :
- Inter
- Inter Primavera
- Napoli
- Fiorentina.

Don't get me wrong, Serie A should get back on track, but there are more factors than Bayern's/Germany's success.
Bayern is a shit club, who likes to profit from other Bundesliga clubs. I has been that since... Always? So why complain about it now?
The downfall of Serie A is only due to Italian clubs itselfs.

Just look at German crowds and Italian crowds. Dortmund fans show up every match, Schalke's, Leverkusen, .... While here you see always empty spots during matches.

You shouldn't hate the Bundesliga for what Serie A has done itself

I think you guys hop on the english's media over-reactive dicks too much.

bundesliga is a shit league and it is not on the rise at all. they can't even put 20 proper teams, so they have to cut them to 18. La liga is shit, but better than bundesliga.

epl has the best 7-8 top teams out of any league, but there's a drop off in quality after that. Serie A overall with 20 teams is the best league, and will always be.

believe what you want. but uefa and fifa co-efficients are the stupidest way to measure anything. according to them, bundesliga will be better than epl, and la liga is already better than epl. according to them england is the 3rd best NT in the world. yea, ok.

and rube going far does help us. during treble season we single-handedly kept the 4th spot in italy for another season.

the whole reason italy is suffering from these co-efficients (except that piece of shit competition EL) is because Rube hasnt been a serious contender in Europe for 6-7 years.

but bayern has more hot dog revenue, sorry I forgot.

Round 1. Bayern knocked out Juve in every single dept. Passing, movement, defending, attacking, midfield domination, wingers beating full back, chances creation, shots on target. Everything. (Pirlo's pass completion was 67%. Did it ever happen before?)

Next leg will be interesting as Juve can't play reactive football, they have to take initiative and play open game which again will be playing into the hands of Ribery. Hopefully Shaqiri plays the second leg in the place of Robben as Kroos is out for 6 weeks. Also Martinez is back, which means Bayern might go with Schweinsteiger, Gustavo and Martinez to keep the team defensively very solid but IMO they should go with exact same team with Shaqiri in place of Robben/Kross and Martinez instead of Gustavo.

It will be very tough on Juve since Vidal will miss the return leg due to his yellow but it will be a very interesting match to watch.

Also, I think made a mistake with his subs with the striker to striker choice. Maybe Pogba could have lift some of the pressure on Pirlo earlier.
