Don't forget Eden Hazard; he was voted the most promising youngster in ligue 1 for two years in a row now. The previous winners were players like Zidane, Pires, Ribery, Nasri, Evra, etc. I'm really looking forward to seeing him develop .

The Belgian national soccer team has a new clothing sponsor ! Because Nike stopped sponsoring the national team, they had to search a new one , they have found : Burrda, a clothing sponsor from Qatar ! xD

60 to 90 minutes , depending on traffic - how fast you drive.

They indeed have some good players but it's about time they qualify themselves again for a big tournament, otherwise we have to keep making fun of them. :P

Just car/bus? No railway or something? :p

I'm planning to go on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday for 1 day/night.
There's this volleyball game that Panathinaikos will play and I'll be in England so it's easy to get to Brussels. But Rooselare is the problem. And then, there's the question of whether to stay in Rooselare or go back (at around 11pm) to Brussels so I can wake up and get on a flight, or get back in the morning and catch a flight later

Btw Yuko , I'm also a Greek living near Roeselare. Yes just car.. If you are looking at the train then expect around the 80 to 90 minute mark.
If I were you I'd try and catch a back and forth ticket from Roeselare - Brussel.. Then you are closer to the airport if you wake up.

I believe there is always a train after 0-00 pm so you should NORMALLY have no problems catching a ride back.

ps: If I wasn't working then I'd offer a helping hand..

Damn, cool game against Slowakia.

Dries Mertens is a beast IMO. Great player, great runs, vision, scoring mentality. :notbad: for us

He should be playing in much bigger league tbh. Always impressed me when I watched him for Belgium.

Btw, who played as striker yesterday?

First Benteke, afterwards Lukaku. Benteke is better in the team play, while Lukaku is more used as destroyer type of striker.

Mertens is a player we should look at. He wouldn't be a bad player for us at all. We need a winger like him.

IMO Lukaku is more complete player than Benteke. Obviously both are beasts but Lukaku has more to his game, his link up play and shot from distance is very good.

But Benteke is in demand player in PL now, if Villa gets relegated then most of the clubs will line up for him and even if they stay up I think he won't be staying with Villa next season.

Imagine if Belgium need a goal and both Lukaku and Benteke are on the pitch at the same time

Cambi man? :D

Nainggolan IS A BOSS, one of the best midfielders in Serie A in the past 2 years. Complete midfielder that wont be only improvement in this squad, but HUGE improvement.

He doesnt play for his NT much, true, but i think it's only luck. He plays in average Serie A team, and he has class players like Witsel, Dembele, Fellaini, even Defour whos hyped as fuck and De Bruyne who can play as CM as competition.

Nianggolan isn't in our nationale team because he's just not rated that highly. He would be rated much higher if he was in a top team. He surely can compete with Dembele, Fellaini and Defour for a CM spot along Witsel. Defour isn't overrated/hyped. He and De Bruyne still are the best talents (in midfield) of this generation. Defour is a leader. Even on this age. He carried a whole team when only 19. He needs to settle down and play more matches.

If we could snatch Defour, we shouldn't hesitate. But okay, it's about Nianggolan. And Nianggolan will be a super improvement for our midfield. So I really hope we can land him here, and boost his reputation.
