Im delighted with this transfer. Whats annoyed me that Julien Laurens keeps saying he wanted to join man united..
I think he was open to it but put nothing like the effort to go there as here. He obviously knows that despite our financial issues inter is a better side with a better chance to get to the latter stages of the CL and win trophies.

I guess the hope is that bisseck shows enough promis so that we can rely on him or that we can get another stop gap till he s ready......

Also sadly i fear will have to replace again one of our big players next season, while we have cut costs this summer i doubt it s enough to not have to sacrifice anybody next summer unless we do a really deep CL run again

The guy is a tank physically. Sadly for him, he’s probably not gonna get much minutes this season unless we get a ton of injuries at the back. Possibly a loan in the winter wouldn’t be the worst idea.

Disagree. We're playing with three center backs each game and we're going to try and wage a three-front war this year. We need six center backs to have proper cover and rotational ability. Just because Darmian can cover either side doesn't mean he should be forced into it regularly.

Well yeah that goes without saying. I'm just highlighting how well constructed this team is now, I'm not saying we wouldn't be selling a player or be needing to replace an injured or older player. That's normal and that will happen.

I'm just saying that the core is more or less set and this core has the potential to be a part of a 5 year cycle, at the very least. That's amazing for where we were just 10 years ago.

I don't think that the scenario is the same as Lukaka with. Because, some of those players tried to contact Lukaku while he was negotiating with rube. Maybe they also feel betrayed as Lukaku shared with them about his intentions and plans most probably.
