Such a weird performance tonight. He did have a few good moments but his failed whiff of a clearance essentially changed the tie. I really think if he doesn’t do that it’s a completely different game.

This Atletico side mentally ain’t great and has been used to losing lately. However, when you give them a goal 2 minutes after you score it gives them crazy momentum and now you have a fight on your hands. Word of advice, you don’t want to get into a fight with Atletico. Arguably worst performance since he joined Inter. He was garbage against Roma as well, but we still managed to turn things around and importance of that match wasn't as heavy as this one. But tonight he was really, like really bad. But regardless of such situations, he's still a world class player. Let's not get ahead of ourselves and write players off just because of what happened tonight.

It is very surprising he cocked up a regular clearance he has made thousand times in his career. He is one of the culprit for the UCL exit, but I am still glad he plays for us.

Winning everything doesn't mean now he isn't going to be a sharp anymore. Like it was said, he was great against Juve not so long ago.

He has been mostly great in defence this season. It's just that his fuck up this time had an avalanche effect that Inzaghi couldn't really stop

It was an unlucky clearance. He has had some bad mistakes this season that has cost goals, but generally he has been good.

The entire defense looked confused and nerveous from the get go and i maintain that was in large part due to Dumfries and De Vrij. It had a very negative effect on both the rest of the defense and the midfield that had to constantly help out and because of that never got any fluid buildup play going on.

His mistakes are nowhere near the Burdisso/Ranocchia/Post-helmet Chivu brainfarts of the past atleast.

I hated the move when it happened but Acerbi is our best CB. But only in the middle. Errors are few and far between.

Benji had a tough performance but he’ll bounce back. He probably saved a goal from one of the Atletico players shots (can’t remember which) when Sommer was headed the other way.
