Brehme, sometimes I wish I could give some of your posts a thumbs down.

I do not know if you have anyone at home (wife/children) but i sincerely hope you are not as hard on your family (or yourself) as you are on Marotta because of his Juventus past.

I would love, for once to see you post something positive as opposed to spreading negativity and pessimism everywhere you go.

Can i just ask, is there anything that makes you happy? For example, do you ever go to the "zaxaroplasteio" see something that you like and smile? Or do you ever read a news article or see a photograph and think "That's awesome!"

Rather than focusing on 2019, why can't you compliment the guy for what he acheived this summer with limited funds?

The glass is always half empty.

Sometimes, coming on here gets me down.

Marotta caused the mess he had to clean in the winter of 2019, I wouldn't play that in his favor, especially if we could expect something similar taking place in the near future.

It's thr samme guy who tried to alienate Skriniar, Lautaro and Brozovic in the not so distant past.
Are you really still salty Inter got ridd of the scum Icardi? Obvious one of the best moves weve had in years not a coincidence we went on to win the league when he left (so limited player its pathetic really)

Marotta is the true MVP of inter and one of the best CEO out there, hes track record speak for itself dont you think? Seeing a nobody - salty basement dweller complain about Marotta cant hardly be taken serious even on a troll forum. His track record speak for itself a nobody like you aint changing that im afraid. (impossible to argue vs facts my little friend)

If this brehme clown would have his say Inter would still be sucking dick at 5 place.4place as long as we had Icardi right...How stupid are some people, just mindboggling.

For Brehme, it always comes back to Mauro. Even though he is yet to admit it, he either has a man crush on Mauro or he digs Mauro's Mouthpiece.

It is not even worth writing or arguing about. We are two seasons and a Scudetto removed from Icardi at Inter and Brehme always manages to bring it back to Icardi and Marotta's Hunchback past. He wrongly blames Marotta whilst at the same time overlooks the parts played by Spalletti who absolutely lost his shit and the lockeroom as well as the role played by the player himself. Not to mention his mouthpiece who talked shit on National TV every Monday night.

Glad he is coninuing with us. I was afraid he was going to leave given Paratici's departure from rube and rumors about Marotta getting disappointed with Suning.

Marotta was here when we finally won something. That is what Inter fans and the whole world will remember. If everything went to shit after Marotta came, I would shit on him, but I can't.

Considering that he also has to deal with chinese overlords, he is doing good enough. He needs to stay for 5 more years.

Yea but it’s the same guy who bought Lukaku for 75m(which many of us, including myself, thought we overpaid) and later sold him for 115m.

Regarding Hakimi, it was kind hard to see it coming as Lukaku gave them his word that he’d stay only to turn his back on them few days before mercato closed.

I mean even juve fans can point to it not being a coincidence that as soon as they lost him, they look as disorganised and messy as they have since 2010,and we look to have a plan and broke their dominance. The league titles follow beppe, this can't be ignored. He's fantastic, the true MVP of the league.

Nothing to do with a gobbi past or Icardi situation when the fact is that he tried to shop Skriniar and Lautaro out, managed to get rid of Godin (who people ignore as a catalyst for a locker room leading presence and pretend he was never here) and and lose money by bringing freaking Kolarov as a replacement, failed to offload all the players he PUBLICLY said aren't part of Inter and managed to lose money on that.

It's nice to pretend as if Marotta didn't come at a period where we spent almost as much as the entire decade in merely a 2 year period because Suning decided to splash money. And now he's a hero for sticking around? Obviously he's handled the late situation better than anticipated but still, that doesn't redo all the shit he did.

He is the one who within 3 months of coming has told half the team that they'd be out, including the coach, and leaked the list to the press. Rightfully or not, it's not irrelevant, it almost cost us a CL spot and also a fortune as everyone became unsellable. The irony is that Icardi was part of the "stay" crew but since he couldn't offload Perisic and Spalletti in January he decided to freeze him out finding an excuse with a Spalletti quarrel.
Something that he also tried to pull with another player but it didn't take a public twist. His name is Miranda and miraculously he's the only player we took on a loss (3m) at a time we still counted our capital gains, while we rejected offers for Valero just because they were 500k lower than what we asked for

Sure, under Marotta we managed to finally win something. But this is the same crowd that shouts Marotta good, Ausilio bad. So the facts are irrelevant for a lot of you, your doctrine won't change unless Marotta himself writes an autobiography.

Marotta made the Icardi mess but in the end that was just good for the club. It was a mess which had to be made. Club made the mistake back then to give him the captaincy. Ausilio tried to get rid of Icardi earlier already before Marotta had even arrived. Now afterwards, it was clear they just needed to rip the captaincy and pay the consequences. Icardi was the banter era captain but not captain-worthy for a club which is looking for titles. He had grown too big because he was the best player in the squad by far. Wanda just created chaos and they decided with Ausilio that it just needs to end.

And they fixed the issue (Icardi captaincy). And then after two years they won the Scudetto. I'm completely fine with this turn of events.

Well summarized. I've lost hope that someone at Inter would have the guts to strip the captaincy from Icardi at that time. NEVER thought that Marotta would join Inter and immediately put an end to the 'Inter circus'. He didn't stop at the armband, no, he gets rid of Icardi (and Wanda) all together for profit, brings in Lukaka and wins the scudetto, and then re-sells Lukaku for an even bigger profit. what is in there to complain about I have no idea.

There are situations where I wish things went differently like Hakimi, but that Icardi situation was simply the best for Inter and no one could've handled it like as good as Marotta. That was the start of a new Inter era to the top.

This post is so iconic because:

Fact is, Marotta is god and were blessed and incredibly lucky to have him,

This is where someone who respects his time stops communicating with you on the subject.

unless you have goldfish memory
Yes, you do. And probably very limited knowledge and understanding of what Marotta has done over the past 2.5 years and give him too much credit for something he's only played a small part for.

Executives are paid big salaries to make decisions and that includes predicting future events or looking long term. Everyone here knew that Hakimi shouldn't have been sold no matter what and a lot of clubs were shopping for a striker after the Euros.

Lukaku or his agent giving a word meant nothing. His sale plus some other players could have easily brought in the money Inter needed to raise from player Sales.
