OK, surprisingly no one is mentioning it, but we have to say this year's world cup is providin a real spectacle for the eyes the moment Lahm scored his wonder goal with his non prefered right foot to the Frings extraordinary, ridiculous shot from far away against Costa Rica, to the moment of true magic from Cahil when he entered and turned table on the Japanese to the great goal by Ronaldo against Ghana which I gurantee anybody who has been and still is a Ronaldo fan has made them wonder if Ronaldo is like this when he's fat, then what will he be when comes back to shape, a moment of wonder that especially struck I think Inter fans more than anyone. What are your favourite goals from the 2006 WC uptil now, we are also still waiting for the final few rounds left.

My favourite goals have to be Cambiasso's goal against Serbia & Montenegro and Maxi Rodriguez's extra time match winner against Mexico. Joe Cole's goal against Sweden also tops the list.

Co-sign. Couldn't add anything more to that, scutzon.

Cambiasso's goal against Serbia. That was the best piece of football so far on the WC. Also Maxi's goal against Mexico and Frings in the first game are also in the top.

1. Cambiasso vs S&M
2. Maxi (1st) vs S&M
3. Torres vs Ukraine

I'm not too impressed by those long shots. They're sure nice looking and so but it's just a one kick to the ball, of course it needs skill, technique and timing. But that doesn't impress me so much. Those passing combinations are just my thing.

What's more, me paranoid me speculate that those goals are scientifically made. Goalkeepers have been complaining about the super-soft balls that make shots very difficult to save.

I have the WC 06 ball, the real one (paid it about $150). The ball bounces like mad but long range shots are a breeze because it's so light and aerodynamic. There's a huge layer of soft spungy shit that covers the ball which makes it facking bouncy...annoying as hell for sure.
