If a mod could add a poll to this thread, that would be great. I'm curious to see who people think is the best manager in the world.

Most Inter fans would probably lean towards Mourinho, but truthfully he hasn't accomplished much for the better part of six years now.

Candidates for the poll:

  • Mourinho
  • Wenger
  • Conte
  • Guardiola
  • Simeone
  • Allegri
  • Klopp
  • Ancelotti

Jose won 2 league titles and few cups in those 6 years, also Semi finals of CL 3 or 4 times.

For me the best manager is Simeone for what he has achieved and how consistent his team is.

Wenger shouldn't even be in conversation, Pep won 3 league titles but Bayern had by far the best team in the league, his CL record against big teams (Spanish teams) is very poor.

For me it's between Klopp, Simeone, and Conte.
My vote goes to Simeone

Who is riding clear at the top of La Liga ahead of the "Great Barca" with a CL win already under his belt?

So you are right, but I think that it's too early to compare him with names like Mourinho and Ancelotti.

Asking this mid-season is probably not the most appropriate because say Ancelotti wins the league and CL this season for example it will be difficult not to call him the best, considering he'd also done it with almost exactly the same squad Guardiola failed to win the CL with.

Anywho, for me Guardiola is the best. I believe that his football is extremely difficult to pull of and is very demanding of the players so whenever it works (which is often) it's pretty damn impressive even with the high level of players he's usually managed.

Simeone for me because he done insane things with a limited budget and getting raided pretty frequently. Doesn't play the most attractive footy but defiantly the most impressive of all the ones you listed.

Guardiola plays attractive attacking football but keeps getting the best team in the league with blank check books.

Mourinho is insanely over rated and Zidane can go suck a huge bag of micro penises haha

I vote Mou for what he's done here, but I think Simeone is the best now, I'm impressed with the way he lead Atleti to two CL finals, and consistently compete with Barca & Real in the league.

If Simeone would have won a CL I think it would be him hands down. However, he hasn't and although I commend him for taking a team like Atletico Madrid there twice, there is still no extra silverware in the cabinet.

Therefore, for me it's between Mourinho and Ancelotti. I'm not the biggest Pep fan, I think he's very good, but he has to win CL with one more club before I put him on the level of Mourinho and Ancelotti.

The rest still have a lot to prove.

he's yet to win it, but I'm giving him the credit for how he build a team and guiding them to the final, beating the team like Barca and Bayern. I really hope he wins it with us :D

If Klopp brings Liverpool to a EPL win in the next 2-3 years than I would consider him in the top 3 current best.

Mou is the best for me also.

He is our God!

He is more right place right time for me and is grossly over rated

Porto- richest team in Portugal, best squad (not impressive to win with them)
Chelsea - came to a team with a blank check book was buying players for insane money. Won the EPl........
Inter - used Mancinis team that had 1 good year left in their tank. Won everything but at the same time the Italian league had screwed Juve and Ac Milan. Left us in shambles and made awful purchases. One of the richest teams at the time
Real - come on Real has 2 tough games a season.
Chelsea - utter shit got sacked
Man U - hasn't gotten sacked because he is Mourinho
