It was a good choice...he isnt the best among these players but he is the one who had the most impact on NT campaign of those players..

No one is saying he is better than Messi but Messi didnt play much

He has done great, but I thing Valencia should have won this award. Podolski is great player, much talent and potential in him. But Valencia showed more in my opinion, and it is not Valencia's fault that he is the only good player in his NT. He hadn't much help from his team mates, while Podolski had it. Even I could score if I had Ballack, Basti and Frings in the midfield to assist!
