Yeah sure because he can afford to do so at the level. I can understand the man and I think anyone managing something as an employed manager can. You get promises, and you work yourself out 24/7 because you expect to compete on the highest level and not to only be up there.

This has been the biggest difference with Inzaghi the whole season out there by the way; we certainly play nicer football, but I cannot imagine Conte‘s team giving up a lead like that. This is because the squad would be ready to do whatever it takes to win, and not play on like usually.

I remember a certain point last season where I think Brozo, Barella and Bastoni were sitting at one yellow card before suspension, but actually held through until we finally won it. Whereas this season you have Calhanoglu getting his 9th and 10th yellow on match day 33 and 34. These are the small differences that decide the race in the end.

And I know, that Conte didn’t have this squad, but it is worth noting that Conte took over a bunch of chickens whereas Inzaghi took over champions.
