Conte mistake, big
Vecino and Lukaku were horror and we wait the 2-2 to change when the direction of the game was in their favor. He wait way too long.

100% agree
Too late substitutions. I hope Conte learns from this cause he has done this few times now.

Good luck winning against Barcelona though.

It would be better for us if we are out of CL... We are better than last year but we still miss several good players and we are far from being great for CL stage.

We need more time and it's better if we focus on seria a completely!

Barca sucks -- we can beat them @ home

Fuck it, I'm officially on the replace brozovic train. Maybe he can play as on if the pivots but he can't be the anchor in midfield. How many goals has he cost us already this season, and a fucking huge one tonight.

Stuff of nightmares.

But I actually believe that we still have a chance. Mostly because I think Barcelona will not accept anything but victory against Dortmund in the Camp Nou and if that happens they will guarantee 1st spot and wouldn't care much about their last match against us. At the same time, an away win against Slavia Praha should be manageable for us knowing what's at stake. We might not be great, but we are still better than those Czechs.

Beating Barca is not a problem..... If a game would end after 45 minute.

have to avoid twiter and sport tv for this evening

I'll pretend that I didn't watch and wasn't interested. It's THAT FUCKING HUMILIATING.

Shit, this club really is trying to hit a new bottom every year. Next year we'll probably lose 5-4 after a 0-4 lead till 82 minute or something in the decisive game.

So can Dortmund in Camp Nou. Btw Dortmund outplayed them in Signal Iduna, Barca only had 1 shot on goal that night nvm the possesion which they usually always win.

Last year we were in a situation where 2 draws in the last 2 is enough. We blew it. This year, 2 matches left, we have to win them. Lets go game by game. If we can manage to win in Prague and Dortmund somehow folds under the pressure, we might have a shot again vs Messiless Blaugrana ( if they are certain 1st)

Its not over yet, with a little bit of luck we ll be in front of Dortmund next round and will face a Barca B-11 in the last round like Tottenham last year.

So calm down and hope ;)

I say dont hope from this team at all. Let’s just focus on collectig all the points in Serie A. For Champions League, we’ll try again next year.

Despite the horrific performance in second half, a loss at Dortmund can't be considered totally unexpected. We bottled the qualification in the first match against Slavia and we never made up for that result.

We should force UEFA's hand into making the CL group stage a Tim Trophy kind of tournament. We were pretty good that those

Let’s be realistic little bit. We’ve been playing same 11 players or so, for how many games in a row now?
As much as this hurts, and it only hurts cuz we were up 2-0 in half, we have no options on the bench. We can’t sustain the whole 90 minutes with the same intensity, and when the subs come in, quality of the team drops pretty bad.
I think Sanchez injury fucked us little bit tbh...with him and Lautaro today, it would have been more difficult for Dortmund to defend.
And I’m over Godin, he’s done. Bench him and play Bastoni and let Skriniar play on his preferred foot.

I think this game marks the end of our season, by playing the useless cheap matches in EL we risk getting more injuries and exhaustion that will be a big factor to fuck up our efforts to stay in top 4 in the league.

I never knew the inevitable turning point of the season would come too soon, but with players like gags, veshit, Biraghi as starters and depth of a Serie D team this squad was doomed to fall just like every year no matter who's the coach is.

Btw it was never a surprise, results may be deceiving on the short run, but what matters is how you finish and not how you start, there were signs before this game that there are major problems need fixing but again the lack of depth and good players gave room for no available choices.

If I remember correctly we almost blew a 4-1 lead at Sassuolo and we struggled at Brescia, and we needed a 90th minute penalty to win at Bologna. Conceding 2 at home against Parma. Clearly there are problems, we lost a lead at Barca in the same manner as tonight as well.

This is primarily a physical problem, playing so many crucial games in a very tight schedule where injuries gave us absolutely no break, Brozo is the core of our squad atm and we've been turning him up and down it's obvious he's physically overdone and this naturally leads to errors which usually led to goals which emphasizes how crucial he's for us and how fucking him ends with fucking us all up.

Skriniar is playing like a rooky, never seen him so clueless and lost, there's of course the occasional moments which shouts I'm still here but Skriniar we know was consistent and firm in front of goal, this year with these massive changes in tactics playing with back 3 and turning him on the right really fucked him up very bad, this almost as fucked up as when Hodgson forced Roberto Carlos to play in the attack instead of his natural position as LB. I dont know for how long will Cunte insist on this joke but I'm not sure Skriniar could bear this career harming decisions for too long.

It's true that players like Candreva and Asamoah had their moments, but there's something we need to understand about 3-5-2, the soul success of this formation is wings, if you don't have absolute super stars with consistency, this formation becomes absolutely useless, you could see the 100% difference Lazaro made to the entire team's shape when he came in and posed a threat, we took control of the game for the last few minutes, specially when Sensi started to click with the attack too. So if we're stuck with this formation we really need a serious revision for the wings/fullback, cause both the starters and the back-up can only give an impression of a team that's fighting for a EL spot both in this group and a top 4-3 in the league at best.

I don't have to and I fucken won't discuss the disastrous midfield we still have for a third year in a row staring Vecino and Gagliardini, I'm done with these fuck ups, I hated my life and the day I started watching football because of them, no matter what they do I'll always hate the day they set foot in my team, I curse whoever brought them here and I despise whoever decided that we should keep them year after year after year.

I know we'll still fight ever match clinging for hope, but we all know it'll only lead to one way, Europa League, that's why I strongly believe that tonight marks the end of our season both in Europe and maybe domestically concerning fighting for 2nd place or maybe giving juBe a run for their money at least until perhaps February or something, but this now looks highly unlikely giving all the issues we're facing.

First of all, congrats to Borussia. They gave us a lesson in football in the second half. It's really difficult to find the causes of such a dramatic turnaround, but I would say it's been their tempo that fucked us over. For whatever reason, the first 45 minutes were played at the rhythm that suited us best. They were slow and ultimately ineffective in their circulation, always allowing us to set and tighten up our defence in protection of our goal, while at the same time leaving us too much space to break through in transition. They created a few dangerous situations, but only Hakimi (who - along with Sancho - would later lead the second half charge) seemed to be playing with the necessary urgency.

Being 2-0 down at home at halftime, they were naturally expected to start strong in the second half in search for the goal that would put them back into the game. I knew it, you all knew it, everybody at Dortmund knew it. Unfortunately the final 45 (plus injury time) of tonight's game confirmed three things.

a) Our team's fortunes depend heavily on its ability to outrun the opponents. We can scrape through against lesser (in terms of quality) enemies, but of course it get much tougher as you raise the bar. As I wrote above, Borussia upped the tempo of their game big time in the second half, and we were completely unable to keep up with them. They kept moving the ball around so quickly, leaving our players to chase their shadows, until they find the way to break through our defensive line. Repeatedly. Seriously, it was a no contest. They allowed us back into the game only when they found their third and decided to cool things down a bit. Certainly, the tiredness of which we've been talking in the past few weeks played its part, yet it can't in any way justify such a dismal performance.

b) related to the previous point, we are incapable of (very poor at) managing the lead. We're a decent chuck of games into the season now, and it seems clear to me that no matter how many goals of advantage we take, we have this uncanny ability to allow the other team to creep their way back into the game. Sassuolo, Brescia, Sampdoria... these are all games that we were cruising (well, not the Brescia one, but we were still 2-0 up at one point), but eventually ended up winning narrowly. Now, I realise that when your opponent is literally running over you it's hard to keep a cool head, but there's suffering and then there's throwing yourself at the enemy's mercy. Aside from gifting them the equaliser, we kept turning balls over, which only helped them increase the pressure on our defence until we capitulated.

I won't even bother thinking of the possible combinations that would see us through the group because, as things stand, we need a miracle. By the way, if we take tonight's performance (the full 90 minutes) as an indicator, I would say that Borussia are likely to make more points than us in the remaining two fixtures, let alone lose they 3 points lead.

All in all, the good note remain the performance of the first half (even though, paradoxically, it would have hurt less had we played like shit for the whole game) and Sensi's return. All the rest was rubbish.
