The trial against the GEA agency(Moggi and his son)has gone over the limitation perid so they will be probably cleared of all charges.

I hope Italy NT will fail badly in WC tbh. I can't stand those annoying Rube/Bbilan faces or FIGC anymore.

Piece of shit Moggi was charged with a 4 month prison sentence for threatening Franco Baldini the Roma general director at the time.
Baldini testified against Moggi and explaining that Moggi in 2008 before the GEA investigation/trials threatend him with this" He approached me and with his finger pointed at me and said...Hello,you piece of shit...you should look out as this will end badly for you"
The fucker of course can appeal to the Supreme court as in Italy you have a right to do so...

The justice department in Italy is even a bigger joke than in Slovenia so...I can see him getting free or with little damage out of this one as well

Luciano Moggi’s lifetime ban from football has been definitively confirmed, after he was denied a final appeal.
The former Juventus general manager was banned for life from “any rank or category” of professional football for his involvement in the Calciopoli scandal.
Having seen appeals rejected by the sporting justice courts, Moggi attempted to take his case to the ordinary justice system, applying to the Consiglio di Stato.
However, the court has ruled that the case doesn’t fall under its jurisdiction, and denied the 79-year-old the right to appeal.
The FIGC’s original ruling is therefore confirmed, and Moggi’s lifetime ban is definitive.

JUVENTUS, INTERCEPTION INCREDIBLE: "The Referees? I will threaten them if they won't ... "
March 14, 2017
Share on Facebook Tweet on Twitter

That's an incredible interception within dell'inchiestaper contest in kidnapping conducted by the Naples Prosecutor against Luciano Moggi and Antonio Giraudo. This is evidenced in this old interception:

Ingargiola: "holly shit, what I've seen in my life I have never seen such a thing, that is, come Moggi and Giraudo ... Moggi threatens him with his finger, to his eyes with his finger ... You are outrageous, as it is outrageous the penalty you have not given. To Paparesta told him with you have no luck, at least you are what ever ... I told him (evidently referring to Paparesta): but you see these things ... he says not a word, I ago, mum's the word for everyone ... I repeat to me I do not care. I have not seen and have not heard, have your things ... ".

Lanese: "... your problems are, it is logical, I was not there, I was not there ...
Ingargiola: "... I have not seen and have not done anything, I have gone ... when they have gone on to threaten, I went into the bathroom ..."
Lanese: "Bravo, bravo, bravo" In another call, the same day, Moggi talks to a woman.
Moggi: "I closed the referee in the dressing room and I brought the keys at the airport ... Now open them! Throw down the door .. ".

Hi from Turkey

as you can see from my nick I'm a Trabzonspor fan and have one question mark about the Calciopoli.

So why was Inter named as Serie A 2005/06 champions and not for the 2004/05 one?
What was the point which led to an untitled season?

Hope you can answer and thanks in advance.

2005/2006 was important because Italian teams had to play in Europe, and you must have a champion, second placed, etc. Inter was named a champion because they were third on the table after Juventus and Milan, both participants in the scandal.
Ironically, Milan won CL next year.

Ok, that's the point why FIGC named İnter as champion and didn't need to call a champion for the 04/05 season.
On the other hand is the scudetto only a ticket to CL for İnter and Milan so they don't care about the 04/05 scudetto?
Think the answer is clearly no. In the light of this why didn't/don't they appeal to FIGC for the championship?
Was it the problem that the 04/05 season was approved by the FIGC when the scandal came up, which let FIGC only revoking Juve's title and didn't call for a champion?
Or is there anything else in the FIGC ordinance which caused to a season without a champion?

basically, yes. we were already well into the following season, which had almost ended. so figc could revoke the title but not call for a champion. same as in the year 1927, when a title was revoked to Torino, but the scandal came up well after the beginning of next season, so the title remained vacant.

trabzon_fan Rubentus claims all titles and doesn't give a shit. They wear 3 star jerseys and FIGC doesn't do anything either. They were forced to act because Moratti took it to the media and despite everything, initial judgments were heavily reduced. FIGC and Rubentus are in the same league.

Understand and share your feelings. Same here in Turkey with fenerbahce and Turkish football fed.
And think the progress here is more shameful.
fener still holding the 10/11 championship and TFF act like nothing is happened.
Only what happened was that we passed to fener's CL seed in the 11/12 season which was Uefa's decision.
But hope it will change when FIFA is included to the case.

A well made video revisiting & summarizing the Calciopoli.

So I posted up a video of Inter's tactics during our treble season. Just a few days after another video was posted which I believe would interest a few of the people here.

Enjoy the video guys!

I'm not sure this is actually allowed by the rules. He is banned from all competitions within FIFA jurisdiction, Albanian league included of course
