I want players like Materazzi who said he only cares about Inter, something that comes before the national team. Materazzi said inter is his "national team".

So, Materazzi havent said "he would love to be with the team in Euro2004?" He hasnt said "it would be a dream come true to be included in the national team?"

But what did Canna reply, when they asked him if he is interested in Juve. He said im an inter player and the matter is in Inter's hands..

Enjoy Canna, i wont. but be sure ill give him my full support if he stays and show us what he can really do..

I believe he will stay, but it´s not always up to a player and what he wants. If he´s sold, then what can he do?

I dont think Canna was so bad in this season. He made some blooper´s, but so did his teammates. All our defenders played less good than we wanted.

I know that ratings dont say all, but according to Gazzetta´s ratings Cannavaro was our second best defender.

Were following Cannavaro's previous comments on been rumoured to leave Inter ? He had been saying this : "I am not leaving Inter at any cost. I have a desire to win something in Inter, then only I might leave Inter to go back to Napoli / ? "

And now you are blaming Cannavaro for those kinda new comments which has been rumoured to be made by him.

Lets suppose that these statements are true and Cannavaro did say that it's Inter to decide if he's to be sold to Juventus, even though he wants to stay in Inter.
Well, we have been rumoured to play with back 4 next season and have been rumoured to two quality defenders : Kompany & Carvalho. Their arrivals (even if one of them is bought), Cannavaro's playing time will automatically go down and he should know that as well.

And who knows, Inter management has already told him that he might be sold if the right time comes ??

And may be Cannavaro just gave us a hint that even though he loves to stay in Inter, the move to Juventus depends on Inter. Would you like to hear comments like - I am definitely staying in Inter, where as inside, the negotiations are taking place for his move to Juve ??
If that is true ?? It's better to hear the truths than all the lies ...... May be he's giving hint that Inter is trying to sell him as Inter no longer wants the service of Canna ??

It's not good to blame a player based on these kinda comments which are not official and without knowing the truth.

And saying all these, I would like you to know that I too don't think that Inter needs Cannavaro for next season if we are to play with back 4. I was just supporting Cannavaro's decision to play in EURO 2004, which is indeed a dream for any European players.

Cannavaro is pretty injury prone and old, so I'd rather take Mexes or Ferrari for our CB... And of course media exaggerates statements, but that's why we're here, this is still pure speculation... He always talks about his dream of finishing his career with Napoli. If he had an ounce of an inter passion he could've said he dreams of finishing his career with inter or at least shut his mouth and never talk about that. Canna is here to collect his final pay cheques and i bet he'd jump to any other team if they offer him more money than us but no one will because our stupid management gave him a huge contract.

My God, you people make it sound like Canna is Guly, but in defence. I have completely failed to see this worthless, illoyal player that you describe. He has been under-performing yes. Like the whole team.

As for him not wanting surgery. Well duhhhh... The Euro 2004 is more or less Canna's last chance to play a big tournament with the national team. Of course he won´t throw that away because of Inter. We shouldn´t demand such things either.

Canna might have pissed me off with his nonchalance as well, but I still consider him a very important player in this squad. Not to mention that he seems to be one of the greatest guys in the world.
