Issue is we don't have money to buy 35m€ top players.
I'd prefer lower option to buy and much lower buyback. There's like literally no fucking sense to set the buyback that high because we indeed cannot use that buyback.
And tbh, we could use lower valued midfielder too. If Casadei becomes like 20m€ valued midfielder in near term, it would be worth for us to buy him back (for that 20m€).
Then considering the loan + option structure, if the option to buy was higher, it would be more acceptable. Because now Nice would get one year to check is he worth the option for only 4m€ price. If he ends up being worth the option, we lose Casadei for 19m€. Okay money but if indeed the player is good, it's bad business for us long-term.
That's why selling him for 20m€ straight up to Chelsea now would make sense but this Nice deal would not is because don't know yet is Casadei worth that 19-20m€ very soon.
