Sassuolo have shown interest in Inter Primavera midfielder Cesare Casadei and Andrea Pinamonti
Speaking while at the L’Amico Atletico event, as reported by FCInterNews, Carnevali explained that the Neroverdi will not likely be able to get deals done for either of the duo, while he also updated that no formal offers have yet been received for Inter target Gianluca Scamacca.

Casadei and Pinamonti are both exactly the types of players who would fit Sassuolo’s model, as the Emilian club tend to focus their attention on young talents with significant room to grow, particularly Italian players.

However, in the case of Casadei Carnevali stated that the Nerazzurri were reluctant to sanction a sale of the Primavera talent, whilst Pinamonti’s form would put him out of the Neroverdi’s price range despite their interest.

Of Casadei, he said that “We had already asked Inter about him last year, I think he’s a very interesting profile that the Nerazzurri wouldn’t want to part with.”
They want this guy inserted.

we better not fuck this up. This kid looks as promising as Zaniolo, so if he is inserted in any of these deals, we bette have a buy back clause thats not too big.

I would have thought that Agoume has a better chance than Casadei of being part of our plans next season.

take with a pinch of salt any top performers who are 1 year older than their average competition, tbh. we've seen it a lot historically

We can always put Casadei in the dying minutes if we need a goal. His areal ability looks amazing at least on primavera level.

Casadei is the new Satriano from last year. Don't have too much hope.
But what really bother me is that, except Zaniolo, none of our kids made it in Serie A. And we had enough success with primavera in the last couple of seasons.
Can someone tell me a few names who made it in Serie A. Not at us, but any other Serie A team, mediocre or relegation side. But don't come with Biraghi or Duncan.

i think that both Duncan and Biraghi count as ''made it''. They are and have been playing regular football for years. Not everyone is gonna be a star player.
And just from the top of my head theres Dimarco and Pinamonti from our primavera that are doing pretty good. Zinho also looked pretty good, until he got injured again. But thats the same problem with Zaniolo, who i dont know why u re counting as some special player, which he as of now is not.

I mean players from the last 3-4 years. Before Chivu was that guy, Madonna. Under him we had also a pretty good primavera squad, even if we were not champions.
Still from such good teams, I expected to come more players to Serie A. Still the pipeline seems pretty dry. Panamonti and DiMarco are the names. Duncan and Biraghi were Strama boys, nearly 10 years ago.
Where is the problem? We tend to believe they put the accent more on the squad per se, instead on personal player development. The whole idea would be to develop the player, to make him capable to play in any system. Other reason I don't find.

Casadei may be giant in the under-19s but I looked at some photos of him from the game and celebrations and there is absolutely no way he has the build to play first team football for Inter. He is essentially still a kid and it very much shows. He needs to go out on loan. Whether that is in Serie B, France or the second division in the Netherlands.

There are lots of former Inter Primavera in serie a squads. They haven't made it to the absolute top but they have made it.

List for last year's serie a squad's: bonucci, zaniolo, santon, biraghi, Duncan, bardi, mbaye, falcineli, zappa, faraoni, bessa, vanheusden, destro, benassi, pinamonti, modolo, salcedo, vergani, belec, obi, bonazzoli and di marco.

tbh, though, how many of them are regular starters at least at a mid-level side, or stars for a bottom level side?
