if we can just make it to the quarter final that would be a huge step forward, i think we can take any of these teams except for chelsea, i also feel that bordeaux can easily catch us off guard and knock us out

I want to avoid Chelsea, Man Utd and to a certain extent Real Madrid.
I think top draw for us would be Sevilla. We need to break this round of 16 spell badly, UEFA better not just hand us Chelsea.

On paper, looking at the players individually we can take on:

bordeaux
man utd
sevilla
arsenal

But as a unit/the kind of teamwork at the moment we can only be happy to draw sevilla....hopefully we can gel fast enough to get past 2nd round who ever we meet...

No matter who we play, it's gonna be tough. If losing to an unheralded Villarreal team taught us anything, it's never underestimate your opponent. These teams are in the knockout stages for a reason: they're all good. That being said, I wanna avoid Chelsea at all possible costs. That team is a juggernaut and would dismantle this current Inter team.

I wanna see Arsenal. I hate that team and I know a few Gooners that I would love to torment if we knocked them out.

Arsenal with their tempo and passing could ravage us for 180 minutes.

all are tough...i dunno, maybe sevilla would be better for us,not because it's a weaker opponent.

Sevilla if we can shut their attackers down are the easiest.

The challenges with Chelsea, Manchester and the Spaniards.
Fiorentina to avoid Bayern and Porto.

Milan - The reality is this. The board is splitting into two. One side has the strongest in Europe, the othe side is for the reasonable ones, including Bayern that sent Juve to Europa League which only Roma have remained (where the real objective is to avoid the nightmare that is Liverpool).

Crisis Italy It is not surprise that just two Champions League titles in two years for Milan (2003, 2007). In Europe, the English and Spanish have been master for years, and we're risking to lose a team in the next couple of years. It's time to recover the pride and success of the previous decade (10 titles and 21 finalists in the Champions League and UEFA Cup).

Inter-Milan It would be a lot easier for Mourinho and Leonardo to avoid Chelsea, Manchester Utd., Barcelona and Real Madrid, those are the logical candidates for the semifinals. Because of the tactical lesson of Guardiola to Inter, the international stature of Chelsea and Manchester, the arrogance of Drogba and Ronney and the fact that Ancelotti knows all the details in his database.

Yes, today is the day. 50-50 chances, if the opponent is going to be tough or tougher. Though Arsenal can give problems to anyone. But maybe that GdS speculation is correct.
