AC Milan 4-1 Deportivo

First goal was scored by Deportivo by Pandiani...But the Milan team comes back with 4 starting with the first by Kaka in the 45 th minute and then in the second half Shvshenko strikes the second and after three minutes Kaka the third and finally Pirlo the fourth.

This makes AC being knocked out at this stage close to imposible.

FC Port 2-0-Lyon

This was another good victory by the young tema that can prove to be the dark horse of the tournament this year...

The first goal was by Deco while the second came from Carvalho.Lyon's chances are less but they are not farfetched...that is why i think the second leg of this game will be an interesting one...However if Porto play anything like they did against ManU it will be hard to beat them..

I watched the AC game and i shouldn't have. I had euphoria after Pandiani's goal and then wanted to punch something. I really felt bad and depressed. Our team has a lot to show against Benfica to satisfy our fans specially after that display. More pressure by the fans on our team is the least we want.

Milan seems to be unstoppable.

They will win this tournament 2nd time in a row and add to that this years Scudetto. What a year from them. Kaka was simply awesome buy. We were linked to him, but of course he went to Milan instead.

We were linked with Nesta and they got him then Kaka and then they got him. How can the inter management live safely in milan?

After watching that game, I suggest that we search Marco Tardelli and rape the hell out of him for selling Andrea Pirlo. Absolutely amazing performance by him. WHY on Earth did we sell him to Milan is an enigma that only Tardelli can understand. Pirlo is still young and in few years, he'll be as amazing as Guardiola/Redondo were or maybe better. He's definitely the problem solver for our midfield had we not sold him. 10 Stankovic won't make 1 Pirlo.

I hate it too that we have gems under our own eyes that only glitter and show their worth elsewhere....Our tears over Pirlo wont do us any good now but lets hope we dont cry over a similar situation again.Lets recognize what we have and use it to its full potential...I think Stancovic can be a good buy even though he didnt perform the way we all want him to...Karagounis also seems to be a fighter so we must give him a chance and maybe bringing Dalmat and trying to fix his game to suit us more is another alternative for depth in the squad...We cant just complain about our players let them do what they are capable of.

Actually i disagree with that statement. Stankovic at his best is one of the most potent midfielders playing in Serie A. His current dip in form cannot be attributed to him alone. The whole team has a part to play in the low standards coming out from our players.

There will be a day when this team finally clicks together, and hopefully by then, Deki will show his true class. I'll still remember your statement though.

Ciao,
Tim

Anyone notice Kaka's goal yesterday almost similar to the one on us...almost the same placement. Teams should be watching him up close sort of like how u would watch the Nedveds and Zidanes to paralyze Milan...I just noticed that because espn was showing the goals from last night
