Hope we'll deploy a proper 4-3-3, Perisic looked much better on the wing, don't think he can play AM.

I disagree I liked seeing jojo and perisic with the freedom to do whatever the fuck they wanted. They swapped wings whenever they wanted, played centrally, and even overloaded one side once or twice. It's cool and it keeps the defense guessing

CHE GRINTER!

With Melo and company, they now can head towards the Scudetto
Derby success and alone at the top are omens of a future as protagonist?
With the Brazilian (decisive immediately) and Perisic, the answer is yes.
It is up to Mancini to make the team grow.

INTER SEE PARADISE AGAIN

Now they can aim for the Scudetto.
But their game must continue to grow.

Milan - Nine points after three games, alone at the top. Cleared are the doubts in August and the bad results in the friendlies. Inter are flying high and Interisti are exploding with excitement. Yesterday, at Pasticceria Cova (a famous bakery), a historical locale and the symbold of Milanese in the world, had the shirts of Icardi and Melo and various Inter cakes. If Cova even goes this far, without worrying about losing customers that are Milan and Juventus fans, it means that the fans have regained the "Bauscia" pride.

The big question Let's not waste our time and get right into it, everything is wondering if Inter are really Scudetto-bound or the three wins in a row have been the results of fortuitous circumstances. Or simply. Luck. The answer cannot be definitive, we are only three matches in. But the derby, when Inter won with merits, has drawn the line between an Inter before and after the arrival of Melo and Perisic. The Inter without Melo and Perisic, like that against Carpi and Atalanta, are not Scudetto-bound. This Inter, with them both, can really point towards the title even if Roma remain superior only because they were second last year and their squad is more tested. No, we have not forgotten Juve. Juve, at -8 from the top but with 35 more games to go, remain Juve.

Melo Mania In the city of Milan, some sort of "Melo Mania" has exploded among Interisti. Felipe, who never liked the way he was let go by Juve, wanted Inter at all costs to take his revenge in Italy. "#Amala," he twitted after the win against Milan and is galloping towards 700 retweets. Interisti are already crazy for Melo after one game. The Brazilian brought clarity to where there was uncertainty. Kovacic had qualities but lacked personality. Medel, despite playing in a regista position, interprets it as some sort of guardianship. Brozovic is another thing. Gnoukouri is promising but still a youngster. Melo was quick to assert the weight of his 32 years, his wickedness and his simplistic but effective vision. One wonders what will happen when Miranda returns in the central defense. Medel, who replaced him in the derby, is coming back to the midfield? And in what capacity? Mancini, during his visit here at Gazzetta headquarters, said the two (Melo and Medel) can play together. However, Felipe has a problem and that his nastiness is ostentatious. Toughness should be shown on the field and not in words during interviews or on social media, otherwise, you may end up top of the blacklist that every referee has in his head. Melo needs to avoid the attitude of a bully to not put Inter at risk of closing matches outnumbered.

Peri-Sì but where? The other signing that has changed Inter is Ivan Perisic. He did not have the same impact as Melo but he is considered to be a multi-purpose forward. In the derby, Mancini started him as a trequartista and his service was what asked of him. However, the best Perisic showed up on the left wing which is why one has to ask why Mancino not to opt for a 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1 with Jo-Icardi-Perisic trident. The muscles of the Inter midfield could surely support this attack like this. Mancini has a curious relationship with the wings. In the past, sometimes he expanded Kovacic and Hernanes, natural midfielders, and on Sunday, he centralized Perisic, natural winger.

Critical The sum of individual quality is higher than the level of play lurks the main problem. This is where Inter, or specifically Mancini, must improve. In the first half on Sunday, the league leaders showed a lump offensively, passing the ball to Jovetic. Ball to the Montenegrin to hopefully have him invent something. In the second half, we appreciated more variety but the strong idea on how the team should play remains unseen. Again, the raw material is good, the overall style of play is still not there. Mancini can work with calm: as Antonio Conte in his first season as coach of Juventus. Another critical point is the defense. There were a few chilling moments that Bacca and Adriano created. There was also Balotelli as well.

Conclusion Mancini said that after 10 matches, the results will become clearer. Wise decision because history shows that those with strong start don't usually end up at the top. Remember Roma with ten straight wins at the start and ended up second with 17 points behind Juve?

Both teams in form, Chievo playing like a mid table side , expect this one to have goals in it

I was very harsh on Icardi and Co in the first 3 games, because our attack seems to score very few of our goals.. But after the Milan game it made me wonder.

Not even Ronaldo scores on every chance, so perhaps Icardi is not the problem? If he is lucky he gets 1-2 chances per game(nothing compared to Ronaldo or Messi), and yet we get upset when he does not score..

It's Mancini that decides tactics, so ultimatley he is to blame, but I'm not sure. When watching us play we seem to be flying around the pitch like flies wondering around a room with no clear purpose. Is it Mancinis fault or do we just suck at following orders? I'm not sure..

Either way the conclusion here is that it's probably not our attack that sucks, but the fact that we get 1-2 shots on goal in 90 min and must score. We need to back to the times where we created 20-30 chances per game like most other top teams do, instead of having the ball pass from player to player, around a dead horse over and over again!

Icardi can't do anything but score, so when he gets a chance, even if it's one chance all game he has to score.

Either way, I'm not worried at all, It's only been 3 games and some players have been here less than a month, the team can only improve.

I feel that our badge would look very awkward with 2 stars.

It's fucking useless to post something serious here. People are not interested in a serious debate.

There's nothing left to be said.

We are still a week away from matchday and there's no news about what formations are used in training or what players will be available.
Also 3 games into the league, you can't really judge either team properly to think about how this match could possibly go.

I agree, but I was reffering to my post no #66.. Trying to see what other people think the issue is.

The one explaining our attack problem? Again, it's only the 4th matchday and most of our attackers have been here less than a month, they hadn't had enough time to train with the team. Perisic will improve and we haven't seen Ljajic yet.

Icardi is just on a bad run of form right now, there's nothing wrong with him.

Also, that was your 1000th post, congrats.
