He played a big part, bigger than all the players u mentioned. No Perisic & Eriksen no scudetto, its the truth.
Everybody has a big part. Darmian scored some super important winning goals, Vidal with his header against jube, which was one of the turning points for us. All defensive players, Brozo, Barella, Lautaro and Lukaku. Eriksen wasn't something special. He was good second part of the season, mainly because the other options on the bench sucked. Player like Hakan is much better than him despite his inconsistency and the different kind of football, we are playing now.
But, for me is quite interesting how not only you, but some others members as well, tend to exaggerate Eriksen's contribution to Inter's scudetto?!

Or just rename it into FIF's favourite players or some bs like that. On one hand it's easier to find a player you want to read about if there is a distinction like that, but if LGI is destroyed and purged, I don't mind at all
Or just make a section called Inter History or something and put everyone there.

I said he had more of an impact than the players u mentioned along with Perisic. U want to say that he contributed less than all of them or not at all thats ur call. He wasnt special but u say Everybody had a big part, off-course all the players had a big part. But you cant say players played a big part but werent special or they did better because bench players sucked, how does that work?

And now we are getting into another debate saying Hakan is a better player fine, thats good as well, but him being a better player didnt lead to a scudetto at the end did it?

Ok, screw Hakan. How Eriksen has a bigger impact even than Darmian? He has only one important goal, for the 1-1 tie with Napoli. Darmian scored two winning goals for 1-0 wins, I've already forgotten the opponents. This is 6 points, Eriksen got us 1. Even Alexis had more contribution than him. He was good, he brought some balance in the midfield, mostly due to the reason that Vecino and 5G are horse shits, but nothing more. Labeling him as a "big impact" is simply not true. In this category you can put Handana, The three defenders, Hakimi, Barella and Brozo + LuLa. This group had a big impact, the rest gave his fair share but nothing more.

Eriksen literally scored the goal that brought us the scudetto

I'm this close to removing him so I don't have to continue reading people whine about this.
And once you do that, they will start whining about any other player they want to be moved.

We had a poll. Majority made a decision. Case is closed. What's the point of the poll then? Just because some people are louder than others it doesn't give them more of a say in this.

Also i find hilarious people make a fuss about a popularity vote on an internet forum when official Inter has inducted Stankovic before Mazzola to their hall of fame version.

Now do Berni.

The problem with Eriksen in LGI is clearly the timing and the extreme circumstances during the time of the poll. I think pretty clearly, most if not all of the people who voted LGI back then when he was 'inducted', right around the time he battled back and recovered and we were all caught up in it, wouldn't do it today.

Now you could argue that time changes a lot of stuff for people, but there is really no comparable comparison to basically anyone else in LGI who more or less had a tangible impact on Inter, while Eriksen is, at most, nothing more than a footnote.
You can't argue with a straight face that he'd be in there if he hadn't had a heart failure. Nothing to do with his time at Inter, nothing to do with his number of appearances, his loyalty, his high level of play while at Inter or anything like that.
But a heart failure.

Stankovic before Mazzola in the real Hall of Fame is and was objectively the wrong and uninformed decision, yeah. Same as having Eriksen in LGI.

all i know is that if the poll was made today, he would not be in LGI. Probably not even close.

I think that an automated message should be sent to all users when there is a vote for LGI.

I never even knew the vote was taking place. Eriksen being in LGI is fucking bullshit.

LGI does (or should) matter otherwise all the players should be listed together and we should not be classifying a player that was only at the club for 12 months and only played for 6 of those as being in the same league as fucking Javier Zanetti.

Back in December i had posted this.

The main reason Eriksen was voted for La Grande Inter section by some members was the way his Inter career ended. People only focus on the pitch while they forget sentimentality is a part of supporting a football club. This is more a symbolic gesture.

But it doesn't really matter what i believe. I am just a member with an opinion like everyone else.

Mods simply comply with majority decision. Nothing more, nothing less.

Okay.

Now do Berni.

Also, I am not questioning the logistics of why exactly he was put in LGI.

I'm questioning the timing of the poll because of the surrounding circumstances and, therefore, the legitimacy of his induction.

Vecino's goal against Lazio was a symbol of the end of banter era, so I want to vote symbolically for him in LGI.

I really don't think anyone honestly here, would have a problem in waiting a couple of years to vote on the LGI. You could put up a poll if you so desire.

I think that is a great suggestion.

Everyone should be notified by an automated inbox message on FIF that voting is taking place, that way, no one can complain that they were not given notice and were not given an opportunity to vote.
