This guy is good if he had pacey winger around him.

Too much pace on his passes. Lautaro and Lukaku are not runner. He must learn game by game Lautaro and Lukaku movement.

I give him score 6/10 for today match. Sensi better than him at the moment.

People have been a little harsh with Eriksen imo. He hasn't been at his very best since coming here, but he hasn't been all that bad either.

The biggest issue is-- I don't know how we reconcile his quality with Conte tactics. We certainly seem more likely to concede whenever he's on the pitch atm.

You point out people being harsh on him and then say the exact same thing as other has

It will be interesting to see how the half season goes but I can see him going in January.

I just think we play better when he’s not on the field.

Fucking hilarious people are/ were looking conte sacked for failing to play eriksen, forgetting that in 95% of games he's played he's been pretty shit.
The typical answer to that around here is either:
a) You are revering history
b) Conte is an idiot and if only not for that Eriksen would shine

...

I think unfortunetly more of a same which is a shame as Eriksen was setting the world on fire at Tottenham. Regarding this "He has to take risky passes". Nobody is against that. But if you would take a Serie D player and told him to try those risky passes forward and he would have 1% accuracy with those, I don't think that player would play much. Eriksen plays in a position, where yes, you have to take risky passes but you also have to have a decent rate of accuracy there with those. That's what this fantasista is there for. Otherwise play dambrosio there and tell him to try those risky passes.

Never the less, I'm still waiting for him to play many more games, especially with adequate cover behind him, i.e. Barella/Vidal/Kante and see how that works. I think this defensive italian tactical game is hurting him and he cannot focus on his offensive game where he shines. The bad thing is that in Italy you have to up your tactical game or else you will not survive. Eriksen is so far the prove of that. Hopefully it will happen for him, and better sooner than later or else this was money well wasted.

A good idea is to waste money on great talent, i heard J mario, Gabigol and that great LB from Dalbertino are on the market, all 3 would cost around 150M, would be money well wasted there, Eriksen def should be sold, he doesn't fit the mold of the classic legendary Inter #10.

Well, on a serious not now I think some DS from Germany said, that if you get 5 out of 8 transfers right, you are a great DS. You cannot get them all. That's relating to Dalbert as this was all on us. J Mario and Gabigol were one agent fucking with Suning. I don't think they will get fooled again like that.

Eriksen I think was management decision. I think Conte said he doesn't want him as his characteristics might not suit his game, but we've considered it too good opportunity to turn down. I think it was right call at the time and it backfired till now. Hopefully it will change soon enough.

Yup. He's not a bad player. Everyone knows that. He has looked a bit "weird" playing for us. Imo he's done great things and some very poor things. Our squad has changed since he joined and he didn't play that much in his first season anyway. I was hoping he would come in and tear it up like sneijder did. But it's different circumstances. I don't think he'll get worse, I do believe he'll get better. I definitely want him in our squad

Mourinho once said in the Tottenham documenter that Eriksen is the man who makes the team play more fluidly, but lacks the final blow. At first it was quite strange to discern the statement because Eriksen were more than able to launch many killer passes in his career. But perhaps Mourinho means Eriksen should aim for the goal instead of recirculating the ball because the former is not a fan of possession football. Mourinho, Conte, and Inter have similarity of not being fond of holding the ball for long period and perhaps Conte wishes Eriksen to take riskier pass instead of taking time to launch perfect ball.

That being said, I still have faith in Eriksen to adapt because he is very talented and very smart. Now it depends on his attitude and focus to adapt.

Actually Mourinho meant (in that documentary) that Eriksen doesn't have the "push", the grit. He doesn't put his body on the line, he doesn't play physically. Doesn't make fouls. Not about the killer passes etc, even in that documentary he gave a lot of key passes when Spurs needed goals in the matches.

About his killer passes, he needs movement by others to be effective with those. Sensi creates this havoc by his own movement and Eriksen isn't quite like that naturally.

This guy would have been ideal for Spalletti when we had Perisic-Politano-Icardi up front.
Such a bad timing.

But for coaches such as Simeone, Conte or Mourinho, definitely not the player. Needs a team which plays possesion football like Barcelona etc..

I think he was good yesterday, i dont get those who says he was the worst (Dambrosio? Kolarov? Young? Perisic? Lukaku? Even barella wasnt better than him imo). I like the way he plays and im aware he's soft comparing to the other midfielders but i believe it will get better.

We conceded the first goal after he lost the ball. But it wasn't Gags, so it's ok huh?)) He made a copule of nice passes but that's all. Hope Conte doesn't bench him for the next couple of matches, so that he reads our forwards better

Ho lost the ball 60 meters from our goal, do you blame him for what? For kolarov faults?
