The players who don't play on matchday always stay behind and do cardio workouts with Pintus on the pitch after the game. Eriksen is always part of that group because he never fucking plays. Eriksen also stays for 20 minutes after the athletic training and practices set pieces by himself and stands there holding his hands up in front of the curva as if imagining a crowd cheering for him. How can you not feel for the guy.

World's smallest violin gentlemen. Where were the tears when Skrinair was benched? Eriksen is a grown ass man, he doesn't need to coddled and hugged like a five year old. He's paid more than Papu, Luis Alberto and DePaul combined and has done fuck all. We're not a daycare, we don't hold hands, Eriksen wanted a challenge, he's got it. We've given him a great platform to display his skills and worth, why should he wait for Conte to see the light? Work your ass off and force his hand. That moment versus Shaktar for example, Eriksen came out guns blazing, playing with urgency, direct, focused, urging everyone forward... And next game he started... And faltered. Conte isn't on the pitch with Eriksen actively getting in his way. I see Messi ignore coaches all the time why can't Eriksen

Seriously though, in his last game vs Cagliari he should've had 2 assists (Lukaku and Bastoni) and made 3 goal scoring chances in 25 minutes. Then the entire team was told to sit back and defend - which he did. He is not and will never be a good defender but he held the midfield shape and chased and closed down opponents like a good Gagliardini until he was brought off like some kind of scapegoat.
You don't get points or trophies for "nearly" and "almost" in the real world. Deliver or sit on the bench. It's that simple.

Eriksen is probably terrified of making a mistake every time he plays. Every time he steps on the pitch he does so knowing that the coach hates him, wants to make an example of him, and is watching him like a hawk, scrutinizing him and just waiting for an excuse to bench him again. How is any player supposed to perform in such circumstances?
If this is true, we don't want this sort of weak minded player at Inter. We want players who relish pressure and thrive.

And please don't tell me "oh he's a pro, he's paid millions, if he can't hack the pressure that's his fault" etc. Why must we make such poor working conditions for our players in the first place?
If this qualifies as poor working conditions then what say you to players who don't paid their wages on time or at all, or players who get racially abused by their peers coaches or fans, or players who play without written contracts?

We need to stop with excuses. Eriksen needs to just roll his sleeves up and get on with it.

I don’t see much difference between “players who get abused racially by peer coaches” to what Eriksen is experiencing with Conte though.

It is personal for sure.

Of course, the Italian media comes rushing to the defense of Conte... because coming 4th in an easy Champions League group is definitely not his fault, its clearly on Eriksen for being lazy and inactive.

They did the same shit to Mourinho, holding him to a standard they didn't even hold shitty coaches like Ranieri too.

Literally the only thing you need to do is listen to Marotta during these 11-12 months.
When you claim “there is a lot of evidence” you need to produce the evidence. Since there is “a lot”, surely you could come up with two or three??

Where is the evidence?
There is a lot of it but you just need to look for it!

Reminds me of Trump’s voter fraud allegations

Where’s the lazy label come from ? He has not given any contributions yet, but it’s so extremely unfair to call him lazy..

Yet all you do is prove that you either do not follow Inter news or do not comprehend written words.

Marotta has hinted several times that this is the fact. If you aren't able to understand that, it is not my job to make it sink for you. Do your own work. I couldn't care less if you're up to date with information or not.

January i coming....we'll see if Eriksen will leave us or not...

When Conte puts him on in the 93rd minute again you have your answer

While I give 0 shits about this guy. I am annoyed Conte has no youth players on the bench but every 19 year old Italian who plays 5 games in the league Conte wants at a inter. It’s like pretty sure we already have a ton of U20 Italians In house

Eriksen has apparently been given leave to go back to Denmark for the birth of his child. I wonder if we will see him wear an Inter shirt again.

Conte allegedly told Eriksen to have more wives so he can keep attending them giving birth

Romano - Inter CEO Marotta to SkySport: "Yes, I can confirm that Christian Eriksen is on the transfer list. He's gonna leave in January. He's not functional to our plans and he had difficulty here at Inter. I think it's right that Christian goes away to find more space".

Yep that should put an end to this. A bit of a shame, I think the blame lies on both sides. Conte could have done better with him and Eriksen should have done more on his end when he played. Ultimately there is no way we should be paying a player 10 million to sit on the bench so definitely the right outcome

I'm surprised if we can get even his book value back if we sell him now. His book value is a bit over 20m€ (given we amortize his value evenly to the date we sell him).

Why would anyone pay anything for Eriksen when Marotta says this about him in public? Would you want Inter to pay a transfer fee for a player whose team considers him non functional? We will only get loan offers.

All of them
just perfect. we're not gonna have a proper set piece taker even on the bench. Brozo's corners barely reach the P.K area LoL
fuck Cunte solely for this
