That money is gone, we might get like maybe 5m€ nominal fee. The thing is the book value we need to cover in this fiscal year. I don't know about our insurance specifically but I think it will cover something for sure as we cannot use the asset at all. I'd think that's the case the insurance was taken for.

Eriksen agent:

"The statement is a message from the company FC Internazionale Milano SpA to its shareholders.

“Every player has a book value. And since Christian is a contracted player of the club, technically he still has a book value. That’s all it says, it’s an accounting issue and it has not so much to do with Christian himself.

“Christian is doing well. He is spending a lot of quality time with his family. He is in good shape. When there will be more news, it will be communicated."

That the cruel business world - the individual is not in the focus, but his "book value". I have always loved Eriksen and was so hyped when he joined us. Sad that his journey here ends like this. The most easiest / best solution would be him getting back to Ajax. There he is allowed to play and his career will go full circus. Maybe we can get Onana already this winter for him so that everyone gets a piece.

Forza Christian :interscarf:

I doubt we get a penny for him tbh. Why would anyone pay for him?

Thank you for the scudetto Eriksen, now people can understand how one more great midfielder can make the difference for the whole team. Sorry it has to end like this but your goals vs bilan and Napoli and your great achievements here will always be remembered.

Hope we will have more Ericksens in the future and less Gagliardinis and Vecinos.

I think he would have balled so goddamn hard under Inzaghi in the role Hakan is currently playing. What a shame.

But, as long as he’s fit and healthy, there’s not much else to be said. Dude’s got a family and he’s still alive and able to be with them every day, everything else is a bonus.

Erisken just can't be registered this season in Italy, he can however be registered next season. He could play without a Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator
and I am sure he want's to remain at the club and keep playing for Inter, if he is being medically looked after by specialists I am sure he would go for this option.

However, his wages are like 200k+ a week he will be 30 when next season starts + how many minutes will the specialist, himself, his family agree to playing for Inter without the Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator placed in him? Very little, gradually build up playing time but never 90 minutes again without the device.

So if anything, it would be wise to consider all factors and sell him so he can wear his Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator and play football monitored and looked after so his family and himself can be happy and live long life's together, which ultimately is what we all want for him.

Forza Eriksen, forever in the hearts of every Inter fan.

Is there any chance that Italia change the rule so Eriksen can play with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator?

Don't have one.
As much as he was solid for us in the second part of the last season, I really wouldn't want him back with his condition, even if they let him play. Dread of that shit happening to him again, and this time while he plays for us, would be too much. I can't even imagine how his family and himself would feel about it. Those are not mental conditions to play on the highest level.

So I think his best bet is to retire, and my cynical ass thinks he already made that decision, he is currently just milking that fifa money, and I would do the same tbh.

No one is paying for him he has no resell value. Kf we at least get his salary off the books that's worth a lot already. My guess we terminate his contract as he cant be registered so we get whatever cover we can from insurance and then ge signs on a free to Ajax etc
