Hopefully this is the start of a new Lautaro that doesn't choke in big games. It'd be tragic if he ended up Lukaku 2.0.

I had a feeling Lautaro would score. A fresh Lautaro against a tired Colombia in sweltering Miami heat was always going to a lot for Colombia.
Bringing one of the best strikers in the world off the bench is a cheat code haha. I don’t get the fascination with Julian Alvarez but Scaloni seemingly knows what he’s doing

I was going to say how dirty Scaloni did him waiting until extra time to sub him on, but I guess he looks a genius at the end of the day.

Wow, what a final it was far more entertaining to me than the Euro final (I must admit I despise both England and Spain)
It was a classic hard fought final between two evenly matched sides. I felt towards the end Columbia, just ran out of gas and Argentina had better subs. Both played good football and should be proud of their effort.
Congrats to Lautaro on the goal and the trophy. Now get back to Milano and win the league, the CL and club world cup!

Yeah he did score, but it had to be him replacing Messi not that fraud Nico Gonzalez. Argentina could finish off Colombia in 90 minutes. Glad it eventually paid off.

Bunch of Colombian fans stubbed each other in LA, watching the final in their own restaurant.

I don't blame Scaloni at all. He is the best thing that happened to Argentina. This situation with Alvarez starting was honestly understandable.

If Lautaro continues like this he will have his place in starting 11 on a World Cup.

I see there’s some drama brewing about Argentinian players questionable choice of song… please don’t be Lauti or Carboni 🫣

Here is the video of the incident. Couldn't see Lautaro there, thankfully. I couldn't really make out the other players other than the moron Enzo Fernandez obviously. Footage quality is low and dark.
